Or when the world feels like too much.
Just grounding in this moment,
Arriving.
By doing that,
We get out of future scenario projection.
And just into this moment,
Into what's here now.
Your breath.
What you can hear around you.
What you can sense while you're resting on.
As generic as that sounds,
Bringing you into the here and now.
That's ultimately what we're doing coming into the here and now.
More fully.
And seeing how your breath is flowing.
So if there's a holding of the breath or if it's flowing quite freely in your belly just inviting a bit more.
Freedom of breath.
Belly.
Expanding.
And contracting.
And just enjoying that for a moment.
And then seeing if there's any stretches that your body would like to make.
Like rolling your shoulders.
Or stretching your neck from left to right,
Right to left.
Just honoring that beautiful body.
Might be holding quite a bit of tension from moving through this.
Mad World.
Intense world.
We're just honoring that.
Going with what feels good.
Also bringing you more into the here and now.
Because this is what your body needs right now.
Maybe it also needed it.
Half an hour ago.
But it also needs it right now.
And that's all we can attend to.
And just gently placing A hand on your heart.
Symbolizing I'm here.
I'm here for.

Whatever is alive within me.
And feeling that warmth of your hand,
That support of your hand Also rising and falling as you breathe in and breathe out.
Just really subtly as you're breathing in your belly.
Is quite unnatural for us.
To know everything that goes on in every corner of the world.
Our systems are not really designed,
Our brains are not designed to compute that,
To hold that.
But that is the modern world.
We know everything instantly.
And the world makes sure that we know.
That's not to say there's not value.
In having an awareness of the world.
But also just on a very simple biological level.
It's too much.
We're not designed that way.
We used to always know.
What happened in a local tribe.
Maybe the couple of tribes next door.
But that's it.
So just having compassion for yourself.
If you are struggling with the complexity,
The heaviness of the world.
Part of that is because It's just too much.
The information is just too much.
It's too broad.
And just seeing how that feels within yourself,
Giving yourself that compassion.
When we go to the cinema,
There's different age categories for different films.
So children can't watch.
Any film that they like.
When it comes to the news.
People seem to forget that we all still have inner children.
That see everything.
There's no protection for that.
We still feel it,
We might be numb to it.
We still feel it.
The upset.
All of it.
So just sending some love to you and a child that might be.
Really feeling the heaviness of the world.
Maybe you can even somatically,
So in your body's sense,
Where you feel that heaviness.
Is really meeting.
Those parts of you.
I feel overwhelmed.
Shocked.
Just said they can't quite hold it.
And with that hand on your heart.
I'm here.
That deep source of groundedness,
Which is what you are at your core.
Is here and can hold it.
Which means that your inner child or inner child parts don't have to hold her anymore.
They can release it.
So as you breathe out you can just imagine releasing that tension,
That charge.
Maybe even feeling it leave your body.
Into the ground.
As not to say that,
However,
These parts felt is wrong.
But it's just to say that they don't have to hold it anymore.
And just gently on the out breath releasing.
Letting go of that charge,
That heaviness.
Was never yours to hold or to carry.
Really giving yourself some love,
All parts of you.
Your body that might be Quite tired,
Quite tense from moving through this world.
Just letting that love ripple through your body as you breathe in and cleanse as you breathe out.
And then sensing your feet.
Really anchoring you in this moment.
Reminding you that as you go through life You can always come back to the present moment.
Put a hand on your heart if you need to.
