Welcome to today's meditation.
My name is Thomas.
One of the great practices that we get to work on is the practice of staying in the moment,
Of being present.
And when we can be present,
We can deal with whatever is coming up for us in a powerful and positive way.
One tool that's become very useful for me is the denials and affirmations.
When we're present,
We can stop,
We can take a pause and a breath,
And we can see what's going on within ourselves.
And if we're experiencing something that might be a struggle,
Might be uncomfortable,
Is disempowering,
We get the opportunity to deny it.
Deny it in such a way that we are not ignoring it,
But we are seeing ourselves as more than that.
And so we deny those feelings that are taking us down,
Are bringing us into a lower consciousness.
We recognize them,
We deny them,
And then we affirm something greater for ourselves.
And so as we settle in and begin our meditation together,
I invite you to allow my words to be your words.
And so today,
I stay,
I stay with the moment.
In it,
Feeling it,
I stay with the joy or the discomfort,
I stay with all the love in my being.
And so I welcome you now to focus,
To bring your attention to your breath.
Light,
Light,
Light,
I am filled with light and love.
I have within me the strength and the will to demonstrate all of the goodness in my heart.
And as the light within me shines brighter,
All will see the truth of their own light.
I am surrounded and protected by the pure divine spirit.
I act in unison with the one source of all,
And I am united with the one consciousness that feeds us.
There are no thoughts,
Feelings,
Acts of fear or worry that can hurt me.
I am empowered to do all of the great things that I desire.
This I speak aloud in this moment and make it so.
And I invite you now to join me in a couple of minutes of silence.
And at the sound of the bell,
I'll bring you back.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Welcome back.
This is the opportunity to reflect on what came up.
And just remember that as we awaken to our rightful abundance,
Anytime something doesn't serve us,
We have the opportunity to deny it and affirm who we are.
And as we close today's practice,
Just take a moment to honor yourself with the Anjali Mudra,
The drawing together of our palms in front of our heart.
In this moment,
Let's be grateful to ourselves and to all others and share our gratitude and love for one another.
Remember,
You are so loved.
You are so deeply loved.
Namaste.
