This track contains a discovery on our thoughts. Thought power is our ultimate superpower. It has the ability to change everything in our life, because everything we perceive is coming from our own thoughts. What if we were to agree, right here and now, that our own mind is the gateway to all things possible. Is it not true that every thought we have about any given situation defines our absolute view?

This is Conscious Cash,

And I'm your host,

Thomas de Schutter.

This is a show about money.

It's not like any other show about money,

Because it's not about getting rich.

It's not about having all the money.

It's about seeing money as energy,

And learning to harness that energy for your best outcomes.

To live the life you want to live,

With no regrets,

No excuses,

And with grace and ease.

Living a life with grace and ease.

What are the thoughts that are worthy of thinking?

That's a question I ask myself a lot.

What are the thoughts worthy of thinking?

Thinking worthy of having my thoughts.

You know,

Mind-idea expression is becoming more and more prominent in my internal dialogue.

And it's closely related to the money conversation in the world of consciousness around money.

What are my thoughts about money?

How do I relate to the money?

Is money something that I need to chase down?

Is money something I can just open myself up to and allow into my life?

Certainly,

In the last couple of years,

The latter part of that has been true.

I have opened myself up to allow money into my life.

So what are the thoughts worthy of thinking?

Well,

I used to think that rich people were bad.

I used to have a negative perception of that.

I remember when I was playing music,

It was,

We're going to go get the man.

I don't know who the man is,

But we were going to go get him.

And I realize now that that thinking held me back.

You know,

The work I want to do in the world requires money.

A lot of the work I want to do in the world requires money.

A lot of the gifts that I want to put into the world and assist people and show them new ways of possibility or open up their minds to possibility requires money.

And I'm quite clear that the more money I have,

The more good things I can do in the world.

So what are my thoughts worthy of thinking?

And am I thinking that I am worthy of having my thoughts?

You know,

There's a couple of things there.

There's self-love,

There's self-appreciation.

There's even having an element of calmness to how we think of ourselves.

Some grace around how we think of ourselves,

Some compassion.

Those are thoughts worthy of thinking.

And again,

When it comes to money,

I can take all of those thoughts and put them there as well.

And I have found that the more I am opened to the possibility of the flow and ease of money in and out of my life,

And I emphasize and out because I'm not interested in hoarding all the money.

I am interested in allowing myself to be a conduit for good in the world.

And if that includes an abundant flow of cash in and out of my life,

Then I'm open to it.

Then I'm open to it.

I am willing to accept that.

You know,

This past weekend,

And I've shared this story a couple of times now,

And I'll share it here.

This past weekend,

I had a call with a group of men where I realized something.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you just connect the dots,

And they might be dots that are far,

Far apart from each other?

You know,

I was previously married for a short period of time.

And my parting gift from my ex-wife,

The words were,

You would make a terrible father.

And I used to carry that around as,

I guess,

Filled with anger or upset around those words.

And on the weekend,

I realized what a gift they were,

That those words fueled me to not be a terrible father,

To not be that man that would have been a terrible father that 20-plus years ago when that was said to me.

And so I am grateful that I lived moving forward with not wanting to be a terrible father,

With checking in to see how am I as a father,

Or what is the work I need to do to be a better father.

And so the thoughts worthy of thinking,

The compassion for myself,

The belief in myself,

All show up in that conversation.

And it's the same,

My relationship with money.

I used to have stories about money that were negative,

That were angered,

That did not serve me to my highest good.

And so the beauty is we get to rewrite those stories.

We get the opportunity to change our perception and to do the work internally that allows us to live our life from the inside out in the flow that we want to live it.

Thought power is our ultimate superpower.

It has the ability to change everything in our life,

Because everything we perceive is coming from our own thoughts.

And for me,

Meditation allows me to find that space to have thoughts that are worthy and be at peace with where I am,

With what I'm about to do,

And with what's going on around me.

What if we were to agree right here and now that our own mind is the gateway to all things possible?

Is it not true that every thought we have about any given situation defines our absolute view?

Do we ourselves not hold the power or the last word about anyone or anything?

This is what's behind the idea of thoughts worthy of thinking.

It's about guarding the door of your thinking against any outside influence that negates you,

That brings you down,

That gives you a thought of lack or insufficiency,

Lowers your self-worth.

We have the capability to be the guardian,

Set the barrier that doesn't allow those thoughts to take hold and run the show.

We have five money principles,

And of the five,

The one that seems to resonate the most with me at this point is the idea that you are your most valuable asset.

When I think of my own life,

I'm very clear that I'm it in terms of the person driving the bus.

I am the most valuable piece of the puzzle.

And if I truly believe that,

If I am going to hang my hat on that thinking,

Then the thoughts that I have,

The thoughts that I allow to run the show,

Need to be of my design.

They need to be worthy of me having those thoughts.

They need to be worthy of thinking and acting upon.

You are your most valuable asset.

The work you do in the world to create a better life for yourself or those around you all stems from you.

Yes,

You may have gotten the idea somewhere else or it's maybe a friend of yours or an inspirational leader out there has triggered you to move forward,

But it ain't happening unless you step into it.

I just want to acknowledge you for that.

I want you to know that there's lots of us out there.

Yeah,

We don't have all the answers.

Heck,

I was just sharing with somebody earlier today that most of the time I live in a world of I don't think I can do this or I ask the question on Sunday,

For example.

Here's the question I had for myself.

I was doing a talk at Unity and right before going up,

I have the same thought.

Why am I doing this?

What makes me think I can do this?

What if people laugh?

What if they don't resonate with it?

What if I forget what I'm going to talk about?

Or what if it just sucks?

What if it just doesn't have an impact on anybody?

All of those thoughts come up for me.

And so I breathe.

I just accept that that's going on and it's not going to stop me.

I get to say what I'm doing.

I have the right to be here,

To show up,

To do what I'm doing,

And to live to a higher purpose.

My name is Thomas De Schueter.

This has been ConsciousCash.

Thank you...Finally my ears open to 🙉 hear about this...our choice, our authority alone to choose the thoughts we let in the gates...we aren't to be victims of stinking thinking that bombards our minds...so much here to ponder and incorporate as I guard my mind..."whoa, are these thoughts causing these emotions (and perhaps behaviors😬) worthy of my thinking..?" Choosing to be present to watch em and to CHOOSE worthy ones, even when the lesser ones sound/feel true. Breathe 🙏🧘🏼🧠🧘🏼♥️🧘🏼🙏thanks so much, my first time to hear this podcast☺️thanks!!!

I appreciate the honesty and relevant teaching about receiving. Receiving gets a bad wrap next to giving, but thank you for reminding me we are worthy and it starts with our thinking
