The glory of meditation.
Meditation is experiencing the glory of who we are,
The beauty of our spirits,
The radiance of our hearts.
There are countless techniques,
But in essence the goal is the same,
To experience the stillness and peace within.
As we witness the perpetual thoughts,
Torrent of emotions,
Endless judgments,
And flood of memories,
We start to gradually ebb the flow of mental noise.
Witnessing our behaviors,
Identity,
And perception of who we are allows us to step back,
Look in the mirror,
And see our true reflection.
By sitting in silence,
We begin to taste the nectar of peace and tranquility.
Pranayama are breathing practices that cultivate vitality,
Allow our body's intelligence to flow,
And create specific physiological effects that harmonize mind and body.
Any breathing technique must be effortless and without strain,
Or it can result in shortness of breath,
Lightheadedness,
Dizziness,
Or fatigue.
Do not practice pranayama if you experience these symptoms.
It is best to receive instruction from an experienced teacher.
Practice the techniques on this CD with sincerity,

An ideal meditation practice begins with chanting Om,
Then pranayama or breathing exercises,
Then relaxing the entire physical body so the mind can be stilled,
