This meditation is to reduce stress, anxiety, fear during this time of the corona virus and work on global healing to unfold love and compassion for all. Using rhythmic breathwork with the inhale and exhale is to invite calmness and serenity during these challenging times.

Calm during Corona.

During the time of this pandemic,

This global crisis is a rare opportunity to go within.

We can choose fear or we can choose calm.

The fear and anxiety that has come to the surface across the globe is palpable.

We see that we all have the same fears of death and illness,

The same fears of wanting to protect our families,

The same fears of not losing our jobs and income and livelihood.

We are all in this together.

Join me on this journey to find the peace within during this time of crisis.

Observe your posture and sit in any comfortable position or lie down.

Start to observe your breath.

Notice the gentle flow of your inhale,

The gentle flow of your exhale.

Let the rhythm of your breath assist you in turning inwards.

Soften the inhale,

Soften the exhale.

Let the breath soothe you so you can find that sense of calm.

Fear is the deepest emotion that lies within us.

It gets buried deep inside and this pandemic is teaching us to unbury it,

To allow it to come to the surface with a fury we have never seen on this planet before.

Let fear be your teacher.

Let the pandemic be your teacher.

Sit with your fears.

What are they?

What have you buried deep within?

What do you need to release?

Use your breath to help you.

With each exhale,

Let go.

Our bodies are designed to elegantly let go with each exhalation.

Feel that quality of surrender with your exhale.

Let go of the fears you have around this pandemic.

Let go of other fears that have come to the surface.

Let go now of deeper fears that you haven't examined yet.

Just release it.

Feel the weight come off.

Feel unburdened.

Total surrender.

Completely letting go.

Do you feel free?

If not,

Continue to work with your exhale deeper and deeper.

This is how our bodies are intelligently designed.

They are designed to let go,

To release,

To surrender.

Let surrender be your teacher.

Continue to work with your breath deeper and feel your anxiety that is on the surface.

What anxiety has this pandemic stirred in you?

What are you uncertain of?

What anxiety has it stirred amongst those you love?

Do you see how it keeps you from being centered?

Do you see the anxiety is not necessary?

Once again,

Work with the exhale to release and let go.

Let go of all your anxiety that has come to the surface.

Let go deeper and deeper.

Now release the anxiety that has been buried deep within.

See how natural it feels to let go when you give yourself permission to do so.

Feel light and free and unburdened.

Continue to work with your breath to feel this sense of surrender.

Let that feeling of lightness and freedom be your teacher.

Surrender deeper and deeper.

Give yourself permission to fully let go.

And hold yourself back.

This is the time to release,

To let go,

To surrender.

Now that you have released the fear and anxiety that was on the surface and the emotions that you had buried deep within,

Feel the lightness in your being.

Breathe in lightness with each inhale.

Invite that feeling of calm into your body,

Your mind,

Your heart,

Your spirit.

With each inhale,

Breathe in calm.

It is in this feeling of freedom that you can find your center,

Your ocean of peace,

Your reservoir of serenity.

Go into this place.

Feel it deeply.

Let that peace seep into every part of your body,

Every cell.

Drink it.

Feel nourished by it.

Let the peace integrate into every part of your being.

Let it sink into your mind,

Consuming your thoughts,

Your emotions,

Your sensations,

So that all you think and feel is peace,

Serenity,

Calm.

Breathe it in with each inhale.

Peace flows into you.

Peace flows within you.

You have done the work to transform yourself,

To exhale fear and anxiety,

To inhale calm and peace.

Whenever you feel sensitive to the global fear around you,

In the media,

Online communities,

Talking to friends,

Ground yourself by coming back to this practice.

Exhale and surrender.

Inhale and invite peace.

Exhale fear.

Exhale anxiety.

And inhale calm.

Inhale serenity.

It all begins with you.

Going the planet can only happen when we heal ourselves.

The work must start with you.

The work must start with each person going within.

When we heal ourselves,

The ripple effect goes out into the world,

Affecting our loved ones,

Our family and friends,

Our neighbors and communities,

Our colleagues,

Our spheres of influence.

This is what is required right now.

Just as we observe the virus spreading with an alacrity that no one could have predicted,

We have the power to spread healing light and love even faster.

Be part of this healing.

Allow love and light to spread,

Not fear and anxiety.

Join me in being the light the world needs right now,

Being the love the world needs right now,

Being the healing the world needs right now,

Being the compassion the world needs right now,

Being the hope the world needs right now.

Exhale fear and surrender.

Calm and peace and invite healing.

You did this for yourself and now we do it for the collective,

For the planet.

Envision yourself sitting on Mother Earth.

Feel connected to her.

Feel her love and support.

Every step you have taken in life she has surrendered herself to you,

Letting you walk on her.

Yet how often we forget her and all that she does for us.

Feel the healing that Mother Earth is calling in for herself right now.

Visualize the sky clearing,

The smog lifting,

The pollution that has taken over so many congested cities finally releasing.

Visualize the oceans and rivers and streams clearing,

Becoming pollution free and the life within them supported.

Visualize the trees,

The rain forests being nourished as Mother Earth calls on this healing.

Visualize all life on earth being supported fully as Mother Nature's regenerative powers allow her to reset.

This is powerful.

This is beautiful.

This pandemic has pushed the reset button on all life on this planet.

It has caused us all to pause from our busy lives and look within and re-examine.

It's a beautiful time to be alive and witness this.

Mother Earth is taking a deep breath.

Feel her breath and its power.

Feel her sense of surrender with her exhale.

Feel her invitation to healing with her inhale.

Feel the power of this deep breath of Mother Earth.

Feel the power of her pressing the reset button.

Press the reset button in your own life now.

Let go and release anything that no longer serves you.

Inhale and invite all the healing you need.

Call in whatever it is that you need.

Strength,

Power,

Courage,

Hope.

Feel the beauty and power of being alive now.

Feel the sense of connection.

This pandemic has brought us closer to our families as we stay together forging deeper bonds allowing us to be more present in our heart space.

As the planes stop flying overhead,

As travel comes to a halt,

We are forced to be grounded,

To be on Mother Earth,

To be home,

To be present.

Use this gift of presence to heal.

Visualize Mother Earth cradling all life in her arms.

She's cradling you.

She's cradling your loved ones.

She's cradling every living being.

Feel her love,

Her support,

Her invitation to heal.

From your center of calm,

Allow your peace to flow to all living beings.

We are in this together.

We will all be transformed together.

From the chaos comes calm.

From the disruption comes the opportunity to be centered.

The transformation begins in our own hearts,

In our own lives.

Let the peace and love in your heart flow into the hearts of all other beings.

Feel the support of being one human family connected by our fears but also connected even deeper by our love.

We are stronger together.

We will be transformed together.

This calm during corona is our opportunity to grow,

To uplift,

To heal.
