Good morning.
Congratulations for beginning your day with a meditation practice.
Let's begin this morning gratitude meditation with some intentional breathing.
Breathing in for the count of four and breathing out for the count of four.
In two three four and out two three four.
Taking a few more breaths just like this.
Now breathing naturally and imagining that you are breathing in and out through your heart center.
And with each breath you take it fills up your heart space with the energy of love and gratitude.
As you inhale whispering to yourself or saying in your mind thank you.
And again as you exhale saying thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Being so appreciative for the gift of being alive.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Now spending a few moments creating a mental list of at least ten things that you are grateful for.
These could be people in your life,
Pets,
Possessions,
Places,
Circumstances,
Events or feelings.
It's entirely up to you.
Every time you listen to this practice you get to choose what you feel grateful for today.
And if you listen to this practice regularly try choosing something different and completely new to feel grateful for today.
Creating your mental list of at least ten things that you are grateful for.
Thinking about your day ahead and infusing it with love,
Peace and gratitude.
Even if you are expecting some challenges meeting each one with your grateful spirit.
Knowing that you will make conscious choices and take inspired action.
Being grateful to yourself for taking the time to complete this practice today.
Bringing that energy of thankfulness with you as you come back into your body.
Open your eyes and return to your day with optimism and gratitude.
