Let's start today's meditation by finding a quiet spot,

Somewhere you can relax and feel the gentle settling of your body into the chair,

Or the cushion,

Or if you're laying down,

Just allowing yourself to gently settle into the earth.

Giving yourself to sit here without the weight,

To sit here without the pressure of pleasing anyone.

Giving yourself the gift of being able to sit here in this moment,

To take care of your own self and your own heart.

Let's start by focusing in on your breath.

Just placing a hand here on your tummy and notice an expand with a breath in and releasing with a breath out.

Let this moment be one of freedom.

Let this moment be a reunion with your breath.

Just taking these nourishing slow breaths,

Allowing your stomach to expand and release.

Noticing any thoughts and then just letting them go.

Noticing any emotions.

Let it go.

Let it go.

Just encouraging you now to place a hand here on your heart.

Check in with a state of your heart.

Accepting what is here.

Finding freedom.

Your intrinsic freedom.

Where you lose the need to be anything other than yourself.

Let's return our focus to the breath as it smoothly flows through you.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

After breath.

I want you to be aware of the self inside of you.

To be loyal to this you.

If you've got lost in thought where your mind is wandering off,

That is totally normal and okay.

Just observing these thoughts with no judgement.

Make the clouds go by,

Day by day.

So do thoughts and emotions.

The clouds come and the clouds go.

Just like these thoughts,

They come and they go.

Letting everything to flow through you.

Just taking a moment to shed anything that does not serve you,

Allowing it to dissolve.

This is where you enter your compassion,

Joy,

Love and your light.

Taking a moment here to infuse your body with compassion,

Acceptance and love.

This you deserve.

Taking a moment now to place a hand here on your heart.

It is time to start choosing the truth that sits within you,

That is waiting to guide you to a more fulfilled life.

Just visualize a beautiful warm light just growing here in your heart center.

This warm light is one of compassion,

One of acceptance and one of love.

Just notice this warm light starting to fill up your chest,

Fill up your abdomen,

Pour down your legs,

Filling up your ankles and your feet and your toes,

Allowing the warm light to fill up the upper body,

Your neck,

Your face.

Taking a moment now to crack open the chest and allow this warm light to spread out across your room,

Across where you live,

Across your country.

And then wrapping up the globe in this beautiful warm light blanket of love.

Taking a moment now to bring your awareness back in towards your body,

Your awareness now back here in towards the room,

Noticing your heart is light and soft,

Your posture is strong,

There's a gentle smile on your face and when you're ready just gently opening up your eyes.
