This is a guided meditation to help you ground the energy within and around you, activate the awareness of your physical, emotional and energetic body, and help you find balance and harmony in the present moment.

This is a guided meditation to help you ground the energy within and around you.

Activate the awareness of your physical,

Emotional and energetic body and help you find balance and harmony in the present moment.

Bring yourself to a comfortable position where you can settle in for about 10 or 15 minutes feeling calm but alert.

This position can be either sitting on a chair or on the floor with any support you need below you or for your back.

You can also lie down if that helps you feel more comfortable.

Just try to stay alert.

Take a few moments to shuffle as you need in order to settle in so you can allow yourself to embrace stillness thereon.

Widen the sit bones and ground them gently to the surface below.

Widen the shoulders and bring them down and away from the ears.

If you're seated,

Stack the shoulders over the hips and allow the arms to fall down to the sides,

Perhaps resting the hands on the lap.

If you are laying down,

You can rest the hands on your belly.

Start to find stillness as you allow your body to morph into the comfortable and supportive space that you have created.

Soften the eye gaze or if you feel comfortable,

Consider closing the eyes.

Know that you are in a safe and supportive space and that you have the choice to come out of this experience at any time.

Welcome the spaciousness that the darkness of your closed eyelids provides.

Let's take a few deep and slow breaths.

Inhale in through the nose and exhale in out of the mouth.

Start with an exhale first,

Releasing all the current air from the lungs.

When you're ready to inhale,

Bring in fresh oxygenated air into the lungs.

Feel the chest expand,

Pause for a moment at the top of the breath and then slowly release,

Letting go of any stagnation in the body.

Again,

Breathe in through the nose.

Feel the expansion in the torso,

Pausing at the top and slowly release the breath,

Exhaling fully.

Let your forehead and jaw relax and let the shoulders soften.

Continue to breathe in slowly,

Starting to expand the diaphragm and let the breath push the belly out.

Hold here for a moment,

Feeling the expansiveness of your body.

Then gently exhale,

Letting go of any stagnant energy and anything else that no longer serves you right now.

You continue with these deep and slow breaths for a few more rounds.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

As you're nourishing your body with these deep breaths,

Start to notice where you might be holding on to any tension that you can start to release.

Notice any sensations on the forehead,

The eyebrows,

The rest of the facial muscles and the jaw and allow them all to soften.

Notice the hands and feet and see if you can soften them as well.

Trust in the magic of your breath and let your body soften the tissue,

Fascia,

Ligaments,

Muscles and joints.

Let it all release while staying interconnected as a unified field of energy that it is your body.

Trust in its wisdom that reveals as you become more quiet to listen.

Slowly start to let your breath flow as it will naturally and draw your awareness to the inner landscape within you.

Start to observe from within how you're feeling in your physical body first.

Perhaps you are feeling a bit more relaxed now.

Notice the mind and any thoughts and let the thoughts come and go as they will.

Imagine that every thought is a cloud in the sky that comes and goes with the wind and you are the blue sky behind any cloud always there prevailing in any and all clouds.

Perhaps you're feeling a bit more present now.

Notice what are the qualities of this presence.

Each breath a unique moment in the present.

Let the sweetness of this present moment wash over you.

This unique moment that will never repeat again.

Breath after breath.

An opportunity to come back to this sweet present moment.

Notice if there are any emotions that you are aware of.

Emotions are energy in motion so allow them to move throughout the body,

Feel them and release them.

Just as the thoughts they come and go,

Remember that you are the blue sky behind it all.

Let the breath continuously wash through you,

Moving out anything that no longer serves you right now.

Begin with this calm presence,

Letting the sweetness of the present moment carry you.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Now visualize roots starting to grow from the base of your spine down toward the earth.

As you breathe,

Watch these roots grow and reach down toward the center of the earth,

Past the floor,

Past the foundation of the building you're in.

Watch them grow past the soil,

Traveling through the sheet rock and growing past the magma.

Visualize your roots reaching the center of the earth and embracing there in a coil.

Tap into the earth energy,

Beautiful,

Grounding,

Nourishing and nurturing.

Connect with Mother Earth.

Feel her heartbeat.

Breathing in as this energy travels through your roots back up into your body.

Be here for a moment.

Feel held safe,

Grounded at home.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

As you continue to breathe,

Channel this energy upward from the base of your spine and send it over to the rest of your body.

Breathe and send it down to the legs all the way to the toes and up the spine towards the heart.

Watch it dance around in your heart and spread it to the arms and hands.

Continue to spread it throughout the body,

Bringing it up through the neck to the head and the space between the eyebrows.

Remember here the vast wisdom that's already within you,

Connected intuitively with the wisdom of the earth.

Continue to send this energy up to the top of the head and let it shoot up through the crown of your head,

Creating a strong beam of light up toward the sky.

Let yourself bask in this beautiful column of healing energy that you have channeled and amplified.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

From this space you can set any intention you wish and ground it into your physical,

Emotional and energetic body.

Take a few moments here as you breathe and bask in this beautiful healing energy.

You can stay here longer if you wish.

When you are ready,

Just start coming out of the meditation.

Take a big breath and bring some gentle movements to the hands and feet,

Wiggling the fingers and toes.

Gently move the facial muscles,

Perhaps by yawning.

Stretch your arms overhead and take a full body stretch here,

Feeling your physical body awake again.

If you are lying down,

Gently bring yourself back up to a seat.

You can keep your eyes closed or keep a soft gaze.

Take a moment to gather your hands over your heart in gratitude for your ability to cultivate and channel such beautiful energy.

Breathe it in,

Breathe it out.

Remember that you are a vessel of divine energy.

Namaste.
