Find a grounded place through this gentle guided track. Deep down, what many of us desire is to feel grounded and centred, but we often neglect giving ourselves the time to achieve this state of being. This track will give you an opportunity for self-love and to be able to give yourself the gift of the present moment.

Transcript

Find a comfortable position,

Allow your hands to rest gently,

If it feels safe close your eyes,

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

Hold it softly for a moment and release it through your mouth,

Again inhale,

Pause,

Exhale,

Let your breathing return to a natural rhythm,

No need to control it,

Just notice it,

Notice the gentle rise of your chest and the subtle fall,

The quiet rhythm that has been with you all day,

Or all night,

Asking nothing,

Just simply being,

Now bring your awareness to the points where your body meets the surface beneath you,

And feel the support there,

You are held,

And as thoughts come,

Just notice them as clouds moving across a wide sky,

You are not the clouds,

You are the sky,

Steady,

Open and spacious,

Now bring your attention to the present moment,

Can you hear the music of this track,

Perhaps you can hear distant sounds around you in your environment,

Or even nearby sounds,

Just allow all of this to come and go,

And what can you feel,

Perhaps there's air against your skin,

Or maybe your clothing resting softly,

Or the temperature of the room,

Now i would like you to gently bring to mind a sense of ease,

Not excitement and not intensity,

Just simply ease,

If it helps you can imagine a warm soft light at the centre of your chest,

And with each inhale it grows a little brighter,

And with each exhale it spreads gently through your body,

And if you want you can let this light move into your shoulders,

Down into your arms and into your hands,

Let it flow through your feet also,

Into your hips and into your legs,

All the way to your feet,

You don't have to force relaxation,

Just simply allow,

Rest here for a few quiet breaths,

And when you're ready,

Begin to notice your body again,

You can gently wiggle your fingers and toes and take one deeper breath,

And as you open your eyes,

Carry this steadiness with you,

And remember that you can return to this space anytime,

Because it's already within you.

Thank you.
