Hi,
This is Paige.
Today's Embodied Meditation helps you stop for a short span of just a few minutes and trace release all the way down your body from your head to your toes.
And that's it.
It's likely when you finish,
You'll feel just a little more grounded,
Present,
And at ease.
You can use this anywhere,
Anytime,
Sitting,
Standing,
Or even lying down.
So make yourself comfortable,
Feel supported,
And allow your body to simply be and to gently breathe.
Let's start at the globe of your head.
Imagine the bones of your skull spreading away from each other a tiny amount,
Softening,
Expanding.
Let that softening move its way down into your brow line,
The skin around your eyes,
Your cheekbones,
The hinge of your jaw.
Feel your attention down the sides and the back of your neck and into your throat.
Feel your shoulders drop away from your earlobes.
Begin to trace your collarbones from their center point right at the base of your throat all the way out across the top of your chest to your shoulders.
From there,
Release down the bones of your arms into your wrists,
Your hands,
And each of your fingers.
Gently breathe and feel your chest rise and fall.
You even feel your upper back expand and then relax with each inhale and exhale.
Notice your rib cage billowing in and out as you breathe.
The front of your ribs,
Into the sides of your ribs,
All the way wrapping around to the back of your rib cage.
Notice how your belly responds to your breathing,
How it feels as if it fills when you inhale and empties as you exhale.
Notice how even your low back gently spreads with every inhale and releases with every exhale.
Let your hips feel anchored and at ease,
Resting into gravity.
Allow that stability to release effort and tension all the way down your legs,
Feeling the muscles of your legs rest more easily over the bones.
Trace that release all the way down to your feet.
Allow all the joints and muscles of your feet into each and every toe.
Feel effortlessly grounded and steady.
Just another few cycles of quiet breath here,
Embodying from head to toe this sense of presence and of ease.
Thank you so much for making this time for yourself.
I look forward to being with you again soon.
