In this talk, we are exploring the idea that happiness is not a matter of luck; it is a matter of design. We are moving away from the hope that joy might find us and moving toward a life structured to ensure it. By making intentional choices about our food, our movement, and our boundaries with abusive people, we take the "chance" out of our well-being. When we align our daily habits with our internal chemistry, we secure our ability to wake up radiant, energized, and ready to love.

So this is the key to life.

Live in a way that leaves no chances of you not being happy.

Live in a way that you are going to be happy.

Don't leave this up to chance.

There are certain meditations you can do.

There's a certain amount of exercise.

There's a certain diet that you have.

There is distance with people who are abusive.

Doing what you love,

Being around people you love,

Going to places you love.

Live in a way that leaves no chances that you will be happy.

So eat in a way,

Exercise in a way,

Make relationship choices in a way that you will be happy.

If you're constantly eating sugar,

For example,

And your insulin is jumping up and down,

You'll be anxious.

You won't feel happy or calm.

You'll just feel really anxious.

So leave,

Let yourself make decisions.

Make decisions so that you know that as a result of planning your life this way,

You'll wake up in a good mood.

You'll wake up with energy.

You'll wake up with joy.

You'll wake up ready to love,

Ready to appreciate life.

And that is a decision.

And those are the choices we make really about how we structure our life and what we say yes to and what we say no to.

Say yes to things so that you know that you can wake up radiant every morning.

And then even if there are challenges,

That you have the energy to work your way through those challenges and then still be in a good mood by the end of the day once you address the challenge.

For some people,

A challenge is like the drama that takes over their month or year.

For some people,

It's just something to be resolved.

The difference is actually how much energy you have.

And energy comes from meditation,

Food,

Exercise,

Time in nature,

Love,

Loving and being loved.

And it's the ultimate act of self-compassion to say,

I'm going to set my life up in a way that I'm going to be happy.
