I have a startup and a great piece of advice I got is don't be afraid to make mistakes,
Just make mistakes quickly,
Learn from them,
And pivot.
So fail,
Keep failing,
Fail fast,
And if you fail enough times then you'll succeed.
It's like you need to fail 10 times,
You need to make 10 mistakes,
And then you do one thing right.
You do that one thing right,
You realize you did that one thing right,
You keep doing it.
So don't be afraid to start something new,
Try something maybe you lose some time,
Maybe you make a mistake,
And then keep doing it,
And then you'll see what works.
And the second you see what works,
You get success,
You keep doing what works,
It works for a while,
Then it sometimes stops working,
You pivot again,
But don't be afraid to make mistakes.
I see,
I'm teaching in a law school class this week,
And I see younger people still like in the school system be much more hesitant to make mistakes,
And don't worry about it.
Get super comfortable making mistakes,
And you'll find every bit of success.
