We honor the practice by starting with breath focus.
And we start this acceptance practice by being with the breath,
Observing the breath,
Letting the breath flow naturally,
Letting the body settle in,
Accepting your rhythms,
Accepting your own beautiful cycles of breath.
Connecting to that breath in your nose,
Feeling that breath brush through your mouth,
Feel the breath in your chest,
Feeling every sensation that presents itself to you.
And feeling into your body,
Saying for yourself,
I accept my body,
Just as it is.
And I accept the state of my heart,
Just as it is.
I accept myself when I'm working,
And when I'm resting.
I accept in myself youth and old age.
I accept in myself wildness and doubt and joy and love.
I accept my high tides and my low tides.
And I accept all creatures as they are.
I nurture myself,
And I nurture the world.
And I find my freedom,
Releasing expectations,
I find my freedom.
And take a deep breath in.
Take a deep breath out.
And when you're ready,
Beginning to open your eyes.
