Begin this practice by closing your eyes,
Let the shoulder soften,
Feel the length in your spine and begin to focus with compassion on your own breath.
Find the joy,
The treat of tuning into yourself and being with your breath.
Each time you inhale,
Say inhale.
Each time you exhale,
Say in your mind the word exhale.
Staying with the breath as an act of self-compassion.
Let the chest be light and buoyant,
Let the belly be soft and just this beautiful breath moving through you,
Enjoy it.
Find the joy of putting your palms right on the chest and connecting to the beating heart.
Really find that contact,
It's intimate,
Connected,
Your heart,
Your compassion.
Thank the heart for beating.
And with that same joy,
Wish for your whole body,
Body may you be healthy.
May I find peace and know my strength through everything.
May I enjoy each day or may I enjoy something greatly in each day.
May I find the joy of connecting to myself and others.
May everything around me give me energy and may I see the beauty of what's around me.
And through all the good and not good and the challenges and the ups and downs,
May I feel a unity with myself,
Setting your authenticity as your highest intention.
And now with that same lightness,
With that same joy,
Take a deep breath in,
Take a deep breath out and just express gratitude that there is life moving through every cell of your body,
