Begin to deepen your breath as you meet yourself this morning as you are.
Inhale exhale.
Maybe exhale with some sound.
Inhale through your nose.
Exhale.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
Noticing exactly how you feel.
Knowing that you don't have to figure out why you feel how you feel.
All you have to do is hold space.
Allow yourself to sit with it.
Breath in.
Exhale.
It's okay to feel.
It's okay to feel how beautiful it is that you are here slowing down turning inward instead of allowing the feelings to get stuck within you as you push forward into your day.
Here you are choosing to stay and sit with you.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Let it be vulnerable.
Let it be really hard.
Let it be what it is.
Softening your face,
Your shoulders,
Allowing there to be ease in your body as you just sit and observe everything that's going on within you.
Not trying to fight anything.
Just allow.
Breath in.
Breath out.
I know how it feels to wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
To feel a wave of anxiety,
Dread,
Doubt,
Fear.
Or to feel irritable,
Sad.
For what seems like no reason you are not alone in these morning feelings.
And as you rise again and meet a new day,
Can you remember the miracle that is you?
Can you remember that feeling all these feelings makes you all the way alive?
Slow breath in.
Release.
Instead of feeling dread,
Maybe you start to focus on the fact that you get to do XYZ.
You don't have to.
You get to.
Whispering to your heart,
I get to.
I get to.
I get to live this day.
Instead of saying to yourself,
I shouldn't feel this way.
May you give yourself permission to acknowledge and validate all your feelings.
Strive to not ignore or suppress your feelings.
Instead remember you are responsible for how you respond to them.
Whispering to your heart,
I am allowed to feel.
I am allowed to feel.
Breathe in.
Exhale it all out.
If the anxiety and uncertainty is overwhelming,
Remember you just need to take it one breath,
One moment at a time.
One breath,
One moment at a time.
There's no rush.
You are held and supported.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
And most importantly,
Do not believe everything you think.
And remember that every single breath you take is a chance to begin again,
To restart your day.
Gently notice any subtle shift within you.
Even if it's a very subtle shift,
It's significant.
And maybe you don't notice anything and now you strive to continue to practice holding space,
Allowing yourself to be as you are,
Seeing yourself with more compassion,
Noticing how that softens your experience and shifts your day.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
