Hi my friend,
Allow yourself to really land in this moment,
Gently turning inward by closing your eyes if you'd like,
And take a slow deep breath to really drop in,
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Feel your awareness move inward,
Letting the external world fade away,
Feel yourself shift into the observing mind,
Steady breath in,
Steady exhale,
Just see yourself here,
Observing your inner dialogue,
Observing how you've been speaking to yourself,
Without any judgment,
Observing your behaviors,
All that you've chosen to do and not do.
My friend,
I'm curious if you've been forcing yourself to do more,
Or the reason you feel down or shame is because you are judging yourself,
Judging yourself for all you think you should be doing.
There is beauty and freedom in the allowing,
Choosing flow over force,
Breathe that in,
Exhale,
Feeling relief as you remember you are here to be in flow,
You are not here to force yourself in any way.
In order to be in flow,
Ask yourself,
What do I need in this moment?
What would serve my body,
My heart,
My mind?
When we force ourselves,
We usually are coming from an energy of shoulds,
Or what we think other people need of us,
External pressure from society.
What would it feel like to let go of expectations,
To release all the shoulds and follow your flow,
Where there is ease and trust as you listen to your intuition,
Where you are breathing in,
Letting go.
To be in flow means that you understand motivation comes and goes,
Energy comes and goes,
To be in flow means that you know every movement you make is productive,
Especially when you are listening to what you need,
When you are choosing flow over force,
When you are choosing what you think should be and allow what is.
Again,
Asking yourself,
What do I need in this moment?
What would encourage the flow of my life,
The flow of my energy?
When we are in flow,
Focus is higher.
When we are in force,
Focus is strained.
My friend,
There can be ease within the effort.
There is bliss in flow.
It's filled with intuition and empowerment,
A certainty that you can trust yourself.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Notice what has shifted within you.
How can you move forward and move toward flow today?
Maybe just start with choosing the next best thing for you.
That doesn't involve any force,
But instead listening.
When you are ready,
Finding movement in your body.
Breathing in some fresh air.
Releasing any stagnant energy.
Feel this new awareness.
Opening your heart a little more.
On your next inhale,
Blink your eyes open.
Exhale.
Find a soft smile.
Continue practicing flow.
