Hi my friend,
Begin to arrive in this moment,
Allowing yourself to take your time to get comfortable,
Closing your eyes if you'd like,
Begin to see yourself,
Begin to breathe with what's here,
Inhale,
Notice what is present here,
What's visiting.
My friend,
You can always return to love,
You can always return to peace,
The breath is a powerful anchor to come home,
Inhale deeply,
Hold the breath for a moment,
Exhale,
Hold,
One more full breath in.
I invite you to join me in alternate nostril breathing,
Bringing your right peace fingers to your forehead,
As your right ring finger rests on your left nostril,
And your right thumb rests on your right nostril.
Be sure to seal your lips closed,
Close the left nostril,
Inhale through the right,
Close the right nostril,
Exhale out the left.
Inhale through the left nostril,
Moving through any stagnant energy,
Close the left,
Exhale out the right.
Taking this to your own breath,
Right,
And carrying the breath over to the left.
Feel how you are balancing both sides of your body,
The feminine,
The masculine energy within you,
The duality within you,
Choosing love over fear,
Choosing peace over chaos.
Feel your breath anchor you here.
Only when you're ready,
Releasing your hand down into your lap or maybe to your heart,
Take a full breath in,
Noticing your capacity now,
Exhale,
Release.
Can you feel how your breath brought you back home to you?
Maybe a little more calm,
A little more steady.
Hurry kills presence,
Worry kills peace,
Doubt kills faith,
Ego kills love.
And now we read that backwards.
Love kills ego,
Faith kills doubt,
Peace kills chaos,
Worry kills fear,
Presence kills hurry.
Breathing in,
Letting it go.
What a gift it is to make a conscious choice to breathe your way back to calm and peace.
To breathe your way back to love and hope.
Thank yourself for showing up,
For doing the work.
What is the message your heart needs to hear?
What comes to heart for me is I am the creator of my peace.
I am love and I choose love.
One more breath together,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Only when you're ready,
Blinking your eyes open if they were closed,
And just gently look around your space.
With a soft smile,
With no rush,
Just looking around,
Returning.
May you come back to this practice whenever you need.
Your breath is always there for you,
From my heart to yours.
