Hello,
My name is Eden and I am a therapist,
Reiki teacher,
And meditation guide.
Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life,
Welcome.
These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts,
And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape.
Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client,
So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before,
During,
After,
Beyond the meditation,
Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations,
Just letting yourself take note.
Allow it to be personal and universal.
Let's begin.
And today we are going to be working specifically with the Reiki level 1 and 2 symbols.
So if you are attuned and you know these symbols,
This is for you.
So go ahead and just find a tall spine.
Closing the eyes from top to bottom,
Moving the shoulders away from the ears in that same motion of just relaxing down.
And then just allowing your energy to follow suit,
Also relaxing down.
The head moves into the heart.
Any energy in the upper body starts to settle in the hips,
The pelvis,
Grounding.
And we begin by first ushering in the power symbol.
The power symbol.
So gently rubbing your hands together,
Creating a little bit of warmth,
And then using one hand to hold space,
Gently cupped,
While using the other hand to draw out the power symbol out in front of you,
As if there was a canvas and your fingertips had the paint.
And then once that is complete,
Using that painting hand to hold space alongside the other hand that has been holding all along.
Deep,
Slow breaths,
Letting the physical body relax,
Seeing the symbol painted out in front of you,
Floating in the air.
Let yourself feel something here as you forge a relationship with this power symbol.
What are the sensations in your hands?
What are the textures you're picking up on?
What sort of emotions have gently started to flow through you as you presence yourself with the power symbol?
Really relaxing here.
As you start to let this power symbol in,
Not just through this sensing and feeling,
But by imagining that the power symbol starts to settle in your system,
Maybe overlaying the spine,
And letting it rest there,
Seeing it rest there.
And just noticing if anything else comes up,
Moves through you,
No matter how small,
Minute.
Allow yourself to get personal and particular.
Soften,
Soften,
Soften into this power.
And then we gently let that symbol go.
Deep breath in.
Long breath out.
And then bringing your hands back together,
Rubbing them,
Creating some heat,
Almost as if we were washing that canvas clean,
Re-centering,
Re-presencing the self as you come into a new intention,
One that is ushering in the mental and emotional symbol.
So again,
Holding space with one hand,
And then starting to draw out the symbol with the other hand on this imaginal canvas in front of you.
No rush here.
And whenever that is complete,
Letting that drawing hand hold space alongside the other.
Softening the body and noticing what's here.
What are you sensing in your palms?
What are you seeing in your mind's eye?
What textures arrive?
What emotions are presenting themselves?
How does this feel to be with this symbol,
With a different energy?
There's often a softness here.
But as always,
Just letting this be so personal to you.
Noticing what's here,
Being right here and nowhere else.
And then just starting to let the symbol in by moving it from out in front of you in your mind's eye into your body,
Into your system,
Your soma.
Maybe watching it dissolve in the heart or overlaying that power symbol.
And taking another moment to notice what's here.
Notice what's here.
And then gently let that mental focus go,
Coming back to your center.
Deep breath in.
Long breath out.
And we move on to the distance symbol.
So again,
Rubbing the hands together,
Creating a little heat and friction,
Clearing the space,
Ushering in this new intention.
And then holding space with one hand as you slowly draw the distance symbol,
Knowing there's no rush to release perfectionism with this longer,
Often more difficult symbol.
Releasing any tension in the body that comes up as you work to remember the symbol and just moving through it as you remember,
Knowing that the intention can be enough.
And when that is complete,
Holding space with both hands and starting to breathe with this distance symbol,
Noticing what's here.
What's here in your palms,
In your mind,
In your heart.
What is here?
Forging this relationship,
Letting it be personal.
And then gently bringing this distance symbol into you in a way that feels true to you.
Maybe letting it encompass all of you,
Maybe laying it on top of the other symbols.
Letting it in.
Noticing what that feels like.
Relaxing the body to this feeling.
And then gently letting it go.
Deep breath in,
Long breath out.
Just taking a few breaths to be here with this fullness ushered in through the symbols working together,
Being present with you.
Let yourself be informed.
Let yourself be changed.
Let yourself feel.
And knowing there's no rush to leave this state,
But whenever you are ready,
You can gently return to this beautiful day.
By blinking the eyes open,
Reminding you where you are and all that lives inside you and beyond you.
