In this moment,
Unheal meditations.
Unsettled.
Your orbit has been shifting.
Your routine altered.
I know holding onto anything firmly planted in the ground feels like relief.
But what if you let go?
What if you chose to be the leaf released from the rooted tree with its firm foundation in the soil?
The leaf that flowed with the wind and the sky and explored dewy sunsets and on-track territories and even stormy waters.
It is okay,
Even good,
To be unsettled.
The altered routine,
If we let it,
Can remind us of who we are.
What we are missing and what we want most from this life.
All of our resisting and gripping for what was.
Our younger selves and our own illusion of safety keeps us from stepping into our future selves.
We are not destined to stay as we are in these calm waters.
We are destined to be reborn.
To struggle in moments.
To like the buds of a daffodil blossom,
Shine,
And then release back to the earth.
To be the soil of new life.
Yet,
How quickly we forget this process of life.
How desperately we restrict our hearts and seal our souls from inevitable change.
So what's the answer?
Welcome your uncertain orbit.
And trust the universe is gently guiding you to peaceful waters.
To warm embraces.
And that as much as you feel your boat is wavering through the unsteady tides,
You are being held with love.
We must have the courage to brave these unsettled waters.
The tides will pass and then come again.
This is the flow of life.
When feeling unsettled,
Ground yourself in trust.
Trust that the greatest destinations cannot always be seen.
Though when feeling unsettled,
We must not retreat to our comfort.
Because our growth and our destiny reside on the other side of this storm.
