Hello,

So pleased to have you here.

My invitation is for you to take a few moments just to pause.

To take a little time out,

A mere beat.

To take the weight off your feet,

And allow your full body and self to be supported,

Free.

Watching your breath.

Noticing a pause at the top of your breath,

Before you exhale.

And a pause at the bottom.

Become aware of those pauses,

As you find your rhythm.

And what is a pause,

If not a moment to rest?

A tiny silence at the edges of your mind,

The quiet between the noise,

A whisper in the wind.

A stillness between what has just happened in these moments,

And what you are planning for the next.

A pause is a space in which you can rest,

And from which you can respond,

Rather than react.

It's a sacred place.

A moment of nothingness,

Like a calm deep night.

It is the blink of an eye.

It is nourishment for your soul.

A pause marks a graceful turn in the dance of your life.

A tiny moment for you,

And only you.

A hermitage from your life's path.

A moment of stopping action.

Stopping speech.

Just pause.

Breathing out,

To the pause.

Breathing in,

To the pause.

Breathing out,

Just noticing the reverberation of your life around you.

And the quiet calm,

Where you can move to at any time.

Thank you for being here and pausing with me,

And may you go well on your onwards journey.

May you be kind to yourself,

Wherever you are,

And remember to pause whenever you need.
