Go ahead and find yourself a comfortable position.
You can be seated or lying down and begin by taking three slow long breaths.
A long breath in where you pause at the top.
And then you exhale any stale air,
Any holding,
Any tension.
Breathing in long and slow,
Pausing at the top.
Exhaling anything you need to let go of.
Holding,
Gripping,
Release.
And last breath in.
Holding at the top.
Letting go completely.
This is a morning practice to begin your day with clarity and openness.
To begin your day feeling protected and cared for.
And to begin your day with the wisest intention for you to go out into the world and be your most confident self.
So with this meditation posture,
You can begin to embody openness.
And you can embody this openness with your face.
Even though your eyes may be closed,
Your face can reflect openness.
You can embody openness with your heart.
Your chest is open.
Your shoulders are dropped.
You can embody openness with your palms.
Palms up.
Open.
Your whole body is open to this day.
Open to this moment.
I am open.
And we also begin this meditation in a field of care.
And I'd like for you to imagine that around you is a field of people.
They can be alive.
They can be gone.
They can be spiritual teachers.
They can be people you admire.
But a field of people who represent to you caring,
Compassion,
Wisdom.
Imagine them surrounding you now.
These could be authors or thought leaders.
People who represent strength and courage.
That big-heartedness.
And as you sit in the center of their field of energy,
You are open.
Receiving it.
And then imagining that you could take this field of energy,
This field of people,
This care,
And hold it up.
Gather it and hold it up.
Above your head.
Up to the morning light.
And that morning light intensifies that field of care.
Intensifies that wisdom.
And intensifies that strength.
And then that light travels down into the crown of your head,
Illuminating your whole body.
It illuminates your face from the inside.
It spreads down into your arms and your hands and your back and your heart,
Your belly.
Illuminating your legs with care,
Wisdom,
Strength.
Illuminating your feet so that you're glowing.
You're lit up from the inside like a light bulb.
Glowing.
And breathe.
And it's with this wisdom and this courage and this caring heart and this strength,
You are full of this light.
And you are open.
So that you can imagine that whatever you are walking into today or tomorrow or next week,
All the things that there's that tendency to see with eyes of fear,
You see them with eyes of strength and courage and opportunity.
You can imagine your day today,
The choice points where you can choose fear and turning away,
Or you can choose to operate from this illuminated,
Wise,
Self,
Open,
Courageous,
Strong,
At ease.
You can feel that ease in your breath.
You can feel that ease in the way you walk.
You can feel that ease in the way that you speak.
And breathe.
And as you feel this light from the inside,
The lighting up of your face,
The lighting up of your heart,
Every cell in your body lit up and the spaces between yourselves lit up with this energetic force.
This breathing body that's alive,
Full of energy to be utilized today,
Full of opportunities for you to step into.
And you can choose to step into them with this wisest version of you.
Right here and right now,
You are practicing being this version of you.
You practice with a long spine.
You practice with open hands and open heart.
You practice with a willing face.
You practice with this slow,
Long,
Steady breath.
You practice pausing.
You practice trusting.
You practice knowing that you are made of light,
Positive energy,
And that your light has the ability to impact others,
Spaces,
And experiences.
And with that,
You become a field of care for others to step into,
Drawing your hands together into a prayer position.
You can bring your palms up to your forehead.
May I have a wise mind today.
And draw your palms to your mouth.
May I speak wisely.
Draw your palms to your heart,
Placing one hand over the other.
May I remember who I am,
What I have to offer,
That I am made of love.
Namaste.
Have a wonderful day.
