Invite effortlessness into every part of your body. Expand your heart and release everything which is not serving you in this moment. Relax deeply. Release all stress and tension as you scan your entire body, allowing yourself to let go of anything not aligned with the present moment and, with loving-kindness, come fully into the here and now.

Hello,

This is Domini Drew with the Art of Attraction and Inner Evolution and this is a body scan meditation.

Let's begin.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.

As best you can,

Try not to alter it or change it in any way.

Try not to breathe intentionally.

But just allow the breath to do what feels most natural,

Most effortless.

As you begin to notice your breath and to let your awareness rest there,

Notice the quality of it.

Are you breathing easily?

Is there tension there?

Again,

Watching what is there,

Sitting quietly in the present moment,

The observer of your own physical body.

Notice if you don't alter it in any way,

How far down your body does your breath come on its own?

Does it flow in evenly from the left side of your body to the right?

How about from the front of your body to the back?

So that you have now a complete three-dimensional picture of your breath in this moment.

Allow yourself to recognize that it could change in any moment and notice if there's any resistance to that idea.

If so,

Notice that as well and allow yourself to be here now.

On your next breath,

Begin to direct it intentionally to your heart.

On your inhale,

Breathe in effortlessness and send it deep into the center of your heart.

See your heart expanding with gold light on every inhale.

Allow it to expand all three directions,

360 degrees around and up and down.

Allow the light to pulse from it.

And as you continue to breathe effortlessness into your heart,

Allow your heart to expand.

Allow it to get bigger,

To effortlessly expand out,

Allowing your deep,

Rich breath to breathe effortlessness into your heart,

Easily expanding more and more.

Let this be so easy and notice if any part of you feels you need to work at this rather than expanding in a doing way,

Expand in a being way.

Allow yourself in this moment to just be.

Allowing your awareness to come down your body,

Allow it to enter your rib cage,

Bringing your breath to this area,

Allowing it to feed the organs,

The bones,

The muscles,

The skin in this area.

Breathe ease and effortlessness into your rib cage,

Feeling gratitude that it does such a great job protecting your organs,

Ensuring your resilience to be able to operate strongly and powerfully in the world.

As this area begins to effortlessly expand with joy and gratitude,

Be aware of your breath.

Allow it now to explore deeper in your body into your lower belly.

Feel the richness,

The rich quality,

The juicy quality of your life force here.

Allow your breath to come and fill your lower belly,

Allowing it to expand with gold light.

Every breath inhales effortlessness,

Easily allowing this area to expand,

To fill with light more and more.

How do you notice this area of your body?

What do you notice as you examine this part of your body?

Are you comfortable spending time here or is there resistance somewhere in your system?

How do you feel about feeling pleasure in this area?

Any reaction you have,

Just allow it to be there and notice it for what it is.

As your belly is filled with light,

Allowing expansive ease to come to this part of your body to nourish it,

Bring your awareness down further into the very bowl of your pelvis.

Continue to breathe deep nourishing breaths into this rich,

Rich part of your human system.

Feel the complexity of this area,

The potential of it.

Here in the body resides passion,

Creativity,

Sexuality,

Divine life force.

This is a rich and very juicy area of the body.

Notice how it feels to spend time here breathing,

Allowing this area to expand,

To get bigger.

Allow it to experience some freedom in this moment.

Allow this light that you're breathing in,

This effortless expansion to penetrate your organs here,

Sending love to this powerful part of your being.

Continue breathing,

Allowing this area to expand.

Notice if you're comfortable here.

If you're not,

Let that be okay.

Just notice.

And now allow your awareness to come further down into the tops of your legs,

Allowing this area to relax and expand with ease,

Sending your breath to this area.

And further down,

Coming to your knees,

Allowing these to expand as well and to take in the nourishment of these breaths to feed.

Allow your breath to continue effortlessly,

Gradually unlocking,

Releasing and opening the entire body,

Allowing yourself to release and let go of any armor,

Any tension,

Any defenses you may believe that you need only because you cannot recall your impenetrable resilience.

Feel your strength now.

Feel it in your calves.

Feel it in your calf muscles,

Sending your breath deep into the cells here and allowing them to expand into effortlessness.

This is how your body can feel every moment of every day.

Bring your awareness,

Alas,

To your feet.

Allow them to be fed and nourished with this beautiful life force expanding out.

Send gratitude here,

Appreciation for your feet that do so much for you,

That wear beautiful shoes and carry you up mountains or through cities all around the world.

Wherever you want them to go,

They will take you.

What a sacred gift.

And as you feel your feet expanded and fully nourished in this moment,

Allow yourself to return to your breath,

Allowing it to be whatever it wants to be in the moment without pressure.

Without deciding you know what it should do,

Just listen instead.

Receive from your body the information rather than telling it what's true.

Feel as you consider this the deep trust in the wisdom of your body that comes with this realization.

Allow your breathing to return to what is most authentic in this moment.

And as we close,

Send gratitude everywhere we have spent time today and experience your body fully expanded,

Light,

Effortless and easy and allow all moments,

Allow yourself to be,

Just be effortlessness in every moment.

Wonderful scan practice, and I especially appreciate your not skipping over the sexual areas of the body, as does every other body scan practice I have encountered. Our genital area is part of our being, and a body scan isnโ€™t complete without it.
