Hello,

This is Domini Drew with the Art of Attraction and Inner Evolution and this is a 10 minute meditation for sleep.

Let's begin.

Start by taking a deep breath.

Allow the air to fill your lungs,

Stretching your body out,

Feeling the exhaustion,

Your readiness for sleep.

And exhale,

Letting it all go.

Begin by imagining a golden disc above your head.

This disc is made of pure consciousness,

Joy,

Relaxation,

Effortlessness.

And it begins to move down your body,

Starting at the very top of your head.

And you soon become aware that everywhere this disc touches,

Relaxes.

As it comes to the top of your head,

You feel your scalp begin to relax.

As it moves into your skull and begins to affect your brain,

You find your thoughts becoming slower.

Becoming more fuzzy,

Less clear,

As you detach from them.

Allow your mind to begin to relax,

To start to slow,

To start to empty.

Starting to feel the exhaustion come with the relaxation,

Feeling your body getting heavy.

Feel the surface that you're on as if it's swallowing you.

Feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into it.

As the disc moves down,

You feel it relaxing your ears.

Letting your forehead relax and open.

Feeling the tension drain from your eyes,

From behind your eyes.

From your sinuses and your nose and your cheeks and down into your lips and your jaw.

Allow the tension to just sink down like water running down a drain.

As the disc passes through your jaw,

You feel the jaw deeply relax.

Letting go of any tension.

Letting it feel effortless,

Open and calm.

As the disc moves down,

You feel your throat relaxing.

Letting go of anything that you wish had been said or not said.

Anything that you may be holding onto that's to do with your voice.

Just allow it to relax and let go.

Let the disc come even further down your neck,

Feeling the muscles in your neck relax.

Allow it to come down to your clavicle,

To your shoulders,

Feeling all the tension drain.

Feeling the exhaustion,

The heaviness coming into your body.

Let your shoulders sink.

Let your clavicle relax.

As the disc moves down,

Your chest,

Anything you were holding onto in your heart earlier is now gone.

It's fading such that you can't even remember what it was.

You can feel it letting go,

Opening,

Just allowing it to be.

Not burdened by tension or holding,

But sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Coming closer and closer to sleep.

The disc moves down your chest and into your heart space.

You feel it relaxing.

Your ribs are relaxing.

Your arms,

The tension is draining from them.

And your whole energy field is starting to just relax and deepen,

Preparing for sleep.

Letting go of anything you may have been carrying,

Releasing anxieties and uncertainties,

Self-doubt.

Giving away to just pure freedom as if you were floating on a cloud.

Feeling the tension now falling down.

Sinking away like water down a drain,

Draining from your body.

Allow the relaxation to come as the disc comes down your solar plexus.

Comes through your stomach and into your belly,

Allowing even your organs to relax.

Anything you're holding onto,

Any tension now seeps away effortlessly.

Allow yourself now to feel the disc coming down into the bowl of your pelvis,

Into your lower belly.

Allowing everything to warm and relax there.

Feel the tension draining away.

Letting yourself be tired,

Be relaxed,

Be exhausted.

Feel the warm comfort of rest.

As the disc moves down,

Relax the glutes,

Allowing any tension you were holding there to drain away.

To fade like mist.

Allowing the disc to come down your thighs.

Allowing them to rest now.

It slides down towards your knees.

Taking with it any tension that may be left.

Leaving only deep relaxation.

Coming down even further into your ankles.

Into your feet,

Allowing all the little muscles there to rest.

To rest now.

Now is the time for rest.

It is the time to let go.

To let yourself contract and allow sleep,

Deep,

Deep sleep to come.

Now is the time to let go of anything you may have been carrying or that you think you still need to hold onto.

Let all of that go.

Allow yourself to just float deeper and deeper down into deep sleep and beautiful relaxation.

This is where you can truly rest.

Where your body,

Totally free of any tension,

Totally relaxed and open,

Effortlessly resting and resting.

These,

These are the moments when you can truly relax.

Truly allow yourself to fall deeper and deeper into sleep.

Allowing your body to rejuvenate,

To really rest.

To take what it needs to integrate what you've learned and done.

This is the beauty of sleep.

Of rest.

Let yourself be contained in a beautiful cocoon of safety.

Allowing yourself to rest and sleep.

Letting your body get heavier and heavier,

Sinking in.

Sinking in,

Allowing it to be held as if it's on a cloud.

And now,

Let yourself rest.

One of my favourite meditations so far for sleep. I found the teacher’s voice soothing. I really liked the thoroughness of the body scan. One small thing, was I felt uncomfortable with the word exhaustion because I have fibromyalgia. I am often exhausted. But that is a personal issue. I have definitely bookmarked this. 💛 Many thanks.
