My name is Domini Drew with the Art of Attraction podcast and Inner Evolution.
And this is a meditation for uncertainty and self-doubt.
Let's begin.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Just let yourself notice it.
Try not to change it in any way or alter it in any form.
But instead just witness it.
Taking a snapshot of how your breath is in this moment and trusting that however it is,
Is how it ought to be.
The body has a much deeper wisdom and is connected more deeply than our conscious minds will allow.
And so to go in and change the breath,
To doubt what is there,
Creates uncertainty.
And this uncertainty is false because the knowing is there.
So when we feel uncertainty,
We tend to have disconnected from ourselves.
So as you're watching your breath,
Observing what is there,
Feel that trust begin to seep in.
Accept where your breath is and trust that it has excellent,
In fact perfect reasons for being how it is in this moment.
Notice how far down your body your breath comes on its own.
If it flows in evenly from the left side of your body to the right or if it's more effortless on one side than the other.
Observe all of this without action and just trust.
Trust your body's knowing.
Trust your knowing.
Let your awareness sink below your breath to the space underneath.
Just be with yourself here.
And watching your breath flow in and out,
Trusting its shape,
Its pace.
Deepening your awareness of yourself.
And find underneath your breath that place of grounded calm,
Bringing your awareness to your lower belly,
To the deepest part of you.
Connect with yourself here.
Let yourself open and just receive yourself.
Let go of any expectations of what you think you ought to do,
Of doing these exercises correctly,
Of following the instructions right.
Let go of all of this.
None of it means anything.
There is no right way to do a thing.
There are no brownie points for being better at life or worse at life.
No one is judging you outside of yourself.
Judgments may come towards you,
But they are the creation of their masters.
They come through the screen of past experiences,
Pain and trauma that that person looks the world through.
So when they see you,
They only partially see who you are and mostly see their own life experiences and trauma.
Know this.
And when you experience judgment from others,
Don't take it personally,
But let it go.
Knowing truthfully,
Truthfully that it is not about you.
As you sink deeply into your lower belly,
Bring to mind something in your life that's upsetting you.
Someone's behavior towards you,
Comments,
Actions,
Experiences that have upset you.
Just choose one thing.
And let yourself sit with this experience and stay deep in your belly.
Try not to rise up or engage the experience in any way,
But just recall it to mind as you rest here calmly and safely in the moment.
Let yourself be curious about the situation.
And in particular,
Let yourself be curious about where you might be taking something personally.
Nearly every situation there's a lot going on.
It's very rarely about us,
But it feels as though it's about us.
What can you let go here?
Trying to fulfill someone else's expectations.
Trying to fulfill your own expectations.
What might you be making?
What part of this might you be making about you?
That isn't.
As you identify this part of the situation,
I want you to release it.
Taking responsibility for the parts that are yours and releasing the parts that are not.
This you may do as many times as you like.
You are your responsibility and no one else's.
And there is no other responsibility that you have.
This is your life.
And here in your belly,
You find your deeper inner knowing.
You find the part of you that knows where you're going,
That knows you are on the right path because you cannot possibly be on the wrong one.
You are doing the right things.
Take less personally.
Take responsibility only for yourself and the things you are called by the light inside of you to engage in.
Leave others their emotions.
Leave others their experiences,
Positive and negative.
Leave others their opinion of you.
None of these things concern you.
Take a deep breath deep into your belly.
Hold it at the top and when you release,
Let go of all the attachments that you're carrying in one breath and release.
Again deeply breathing in.
Holding at the top.
Gathering all the things that you are taking responsibility for,
The areas where you're working hard,
That you're holding onto,
That you're trying to fix,
That you're making your business that aren't,
Gather them all and exhale them out of your mouth.
Good.
Feel now how your body feels different.
Check in and see if it does.
Feel some calmness in that belly,
Some centeredness.
This is the part of you that knows that what you are doing is the right thing,
That you are on the right path,
That your instincts are accurate.
Follow them without thought.
Here in this place of deep knowing do you have all of your answers,
All of the trust,
All of the self-assuredness that you need to remedy the self-doubt and uncertainty?
Ground yourself here in this place.
Connect deeply,
Deeply with your body,
Your body knows.
Allow this to be effortless.
Allow it to repeat often until it becomes your default and you sit comfortably,
Solidly in your body,
Standing in your power as a default,
That this becomes your default state.
This is more than possible for you.
Allow yourself to sink,
To deepen,
To know and trust that you know who you are,
That you know what you want and that you know how to get it.
Allow yourself to stay in this deep place as long as you feel comfortable,
As long as it feels enriching and enlivening,
Soothing,
Calming and centering.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Until next time,
My name is Domini Drew.
