Good afternoon!

How is your day going?

Whatever your response,

The next five minutes is your opportunity to rebalance and centre in yourself.

Let's begin with a mental sweep.

Take one hand,

Palm facing you,

And sweep it across your forehead from right to left.

Then shake your fingers off and let the energy go.

Then do the same with the other hand.

You can repeat this several times.

Here,

We're collecting all thoughts,

All need to analyse,

The energy of decision-making,

And all the excess mental activity.

Bring yourself into this present moment.

Breathe.

Let's reclaim all expended energy now,

Bringing it back to yourself and your centre.

We'll start with the dimension of up and down.

Feel rooted through your feet,

Your legs,

Your seat,

Whatever is touching the ground.

Allow your roots to plunge deep.

Imagine them reaching down and out,

Grounding you deeply in the heart of the earth.

And now,

Feel yourself lengthening from the waist up,

Growing ever taller,

Ever longer,

Reaching out through the crown of the head and expanding outward like the limbs of a tree into the heavens.

Feel yourself as that connection between heaven and earth,

And then merge those two energies back into the heart.

Now let's explore the dimensions of right to left.

This is how we relate to the world and to others.

Whatever energy you've expended in either direction,

Imagine your arms reaching out to your sides,

Palms facing out.

And like magnets drawing back to you any expended energy that belongs to you,

Bring it back into your centre,

Into your heart.

And finally,

Let's work with the dimension of front to back.

This is the energy of our experiencing in life as we move forward into the unknown and retreat back into memory and habit.

Let's pull those two directional forces back into the present moment,

Into the now,

Into the heart.

Bring yourself back to the real,

This moment.

Now let's spend some time in quiet together.

Feel the lines of these dimensions continuing to rebalance themselves,

Up and down,

Left and right,

Back to front.

Now you're ready to face the rest of your day,

Renewed,

Refreshed,

And re-centred.
