Hello and welcome to this 15 minute chakra meditation.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable seated position,
A comfortable and tall spine,
Feeling the crown of the head lifting and lengthening up towards the ceiling,
But keeping both sit bones rooting down into the earth so that you can feel that energetic pull of being grounded and uplifted at the same time.
Softening the face,
The jaw,
The shoulders,
The belly and the breath.
Observing the natural rhythm of the air as it flows in and out of the nostrils.
Giving yourself permission to really be here now in the present moment.
Let's begin at the root of the spine,
Our root chakra,
Muladhara chakra.
Bringing your intention,
Your attention,
Your awareness to the base of the spine and perhaps feeling a warmth there or visualizing a spiraling sphere,
A ball of energy in the color red.
Inviting in all the beautiful qualities around our root chakra of survival,
Security,
Groundedness,
Safety.
Asking yourself if your security needs are being met at this time.
Can you live feeling safe with yourself and in the world around you?
Bringing in the words of affirmation,
I am grounded,
I am safe,
I am secure.
Bringing your awareness now to your second chakra,
Your sacral chakra,
Swaristhana,
The space below the belly button.
This is our house of creativity,
Sensuality,
Sexuality,
Our creative power lives here.
And maybe imagining that beautiful spiraling circular light in the color orange.
Sending blessings and gratitude to our partnerships,
Those both creative and romantic.
To living our passions and to making our dreams a reality,
To birthing our dreams from within.
And if you wish inviting in the affirmation,
I am a creative being.
I am flowing like water through life.
I desire.
Coming up to our third chakra,
At the solar plexus manipura chakra,
At the center of the abdomen,
Our place of power,
Of identity,
Of action,
Of where we go out into the world and accomplish whatever it is that we desire.
Just imagining that circular sphere,
That energy orb in the color yellow.
Bringing to mind these affirmations,
I have self-esteem,
I have self-worth,
I am not my ego identity.
I am in control.
Sending the awareness up now into the heart anahata chakra,
Our home of love and compassion at heart center,
Of giving out and receiving in love and compassion to ourselves and to those around us.
Encouraging that heart energy to be open,
To be flowing in and out and around us at all times.
Feeling the color green,
This beautiful circular or spiral motion at the heart.
Bringing into mind the affirmations,
I give love unconditionally.
I receive love openly and willingly,
I love.
Coming to our throat center,
Throat chakra,
Vishuddha chakra.
Finding a beautiful blue light or blue sphere,
A blue energy orb in this space.
Our center of communication and speech with the intention that while this chakra is open and flowing,
We are able to ask for whatever it is that we need from a place of compassion.
To speak words that are kind,
True and necessary.
To express ourselves from a place of authenticity.
And from here embracing the mantra,
I express,
I share my voice,
I speak my truth,
I emanate love from the vibration of my words.
Bringing your awareness to the third eye chakra,
Ajna chakra.
The beautiful indigo light here in the space between the eyebrows.
Our home to insight,
Intuition,
Awareness and guidance.
Our connection to our teachers,
Gurus,
Guides and ancestors.
Being confident in the notion that we can listen to our thoughts to give us guidance and to assist us in the right path.
To receive the teachings and the learnings that we need at each moment.
Bringing in the mantra,
I tune in and I trust.
I tune in and I trust.
And traveling up to the crown of the head for our final chakra,
The crown chakra,
Sahasrara.
It's an ultraviolet light or a white light expanding out in all directions to symbolize our connectedness to cosmic consciousness.
To all things,
All beings everywhere.
Bringing an open vessel to giving and receiving that sense of oneness.
That constant connection to all things through the crown.
Bringing into mind the mantra or the affirmation,
I am.
I am one.
We are one.
For a couple of moments just allowing your awareness to travel up and down the spine.
A little check in with each chakra on your way up,
On your way down.
Having that central channel connecting all the seven chakras,
Open,
Spacious,
Allowing that energy to flow freely.
Bunk away.
And now from the base of the spine,
Taking a full breath all the way up to the crown of the head.
And just exhaling the air out gently.
Inhaling from the base of the spine all the way up to the crown of the head.
And exhaling the air out.
Inhaling all the way up through the seven chakras.
And gently releasing the air out.
Gently making your way back into awareness to the space that you're in,
To your physical body,
Your physical form.
And a moment of gratitude for being able to sit in your meditation today,
To check in and connect deeply within.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening the eyes.
