Hello and welcome to my meditation for sleep.
Thank you so much for tuning in.
So make your way into a comfortable position.
Hopefully you're lying down on your back,
On your belly and make any little adjustments that you need to bring the body into its most comfortable position possible.
Take a nice big breath in through the nose and just a soft exhale out through the mouth.
Just beginning to feel the whole body become heavy,
Soft,
Calm and relaxed.
Bringing your attention to the feet,
Bringing awareness to the tips of the toes and see if you can encourage and soften the toes so that they can fully relax.
Relaxing the feet,
The inner arches of the feet,
The heels,
The balls of the feet,
The outer edges,
The top ridges,
Everything softening.
Relaxing the ankles,
Inner ankles and outer ankles.
Relaxing your shin bones,
Your calf muscles.
Relaxing the knees,
The kneecaps,
The spaces behind the knees they can soften to.
Relaxing your thighs,
Your quadriceps.
Relaxing the backs of the legs,
The hamstrings.
Just feeling the legs become even heavier.
Feel the skin melting away from the bone.
Feeling becoming even more relaxed.
Softening the hips,
The belly.
Softening the rib cage,
The lungs.
The spine is subtle,
Supple and soft.
The shoulders relax.
The arms,
The elbows,
The wrists relax.
Relaxing the palms,
All ten fingers,
The knuckles,
The fingernails relax.
Relaxing the throat,
The front of the neck,
The back of the neck.
Relaxing the jaw,
The cheekbones and even letting the tongue just drop from the roof of the mouth down.
Relaxing the eyelids,
All the tiny muscles around the eyes relax.
The forehead relaxes.
Every single hair follicle relaxes as well.
Every element of the body in full surrender.
Nowhere to go,
Nowhere to be.
Relaxing fully and completely here and now.
If there's anywhere else in the body that still needs your attention as we finish this body scan,
Send your awareness there.
Send your intention there.
And some long deep breaths there.
Letting the whole body to melt away,
The mind to float away into perfect sleep,
Perfect bliss,
A space with no thoughts,
No to do's,
No worries.
Your nectar,
Bliss,
Calm in each moment.
Letting yourself to drift away deeper and deeper into relaxation,
Into calm,
Into tranquility and surrender.
