Join me for my simple yet effective 5 minute meditation, focusing on letting go. By paying attention to the breath and using the repetition of a mantra, we can help relax the mind and body, and sink deeper into our own awareness. Ultimately, we can let go of what no longer serves us in this moment, so that we have the full permission to just BE. Great for all levels, enjoy.

Hello and welcome to my simple five minute meditation.

Today we're going to be focusing on letting go.

Let's first begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

Imagine that there's a string attached to the crown of the head and it's pulling and lifting you up a little higher towards the ceiling.

And perhaps that intention can bring a little bit more spaciousness and length in the spine.

And now begin to tune in to the breath.

Follow the natural movement of the air as it flows through the inner lining of the nostrils and out.

Observing the ebb and flow.

The natural process of the body receiving the air and the oxygen in and then automatically releasing air out.

This journey of taking in what one needs and letting go of what no longer serves us.

Even as you focus on the breath you might notice a thought or two pop up into the mind.

Perhaps a memory or a to do list.

Or maybe even a nagging sensation in the body and that's okay.

Observe it all without judgment.

Putting it in with the inhale,

Letting it go with the exhale.

You can even use the repetition of the words let go to guide your meditation.

Like a mantra allow the repetition to fill up the space of the mind.

To take up the space of the thoughts,

Of limiting beliefs,

Ideas.

Anything that is preventing you from joy,

Peace,

Love,

Compassion.

With every inhalation silently saying to yourself the word let.

And with every exhalation silently repeating the word go.

Inhaling let.

Exhaling go.

Let go.

Try not to wander too far away into a thought or into a story.

Returning back to the breath,

Back to your little mantra and start again.

Let go.

Take a deep breath in and let all the air out.

Thank you so very much.

Have a peaceful day.
