Hello and welcome.

Thank you for practicing with me.

Let's set aside the next five minutes or so where we will be uninterrupted so that we can shift from the world of doing to simply being with ourselves.

As we begin take a moment to settle into your meditation position.

It could be sitting or lying down if you prefer.

Whatever feels most comfortable for you.

If it feels right you may gently close down the eyes or maintain a soft gaze.

Now begin to breathe with an inhale of four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Pause for a moment.

Then exhale for seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Pause for a moment again.

And let's repeat.

Inhale for four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Pause.

And exhale seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Pause.

Continue to breathe this way.

Now slowly release your counting breath and return to your natural breath pattern.

In your mind's eye visualize yourself laying underneath a starry sky.

The moon is full.

The stars are twinkling overhead and you feel so at peace here.

The ground beneath you is supporting your body and holding you in a soft cocoon of grass.

You can hear the crickets in the distance and it's the perfect temperature outside.

As you continue to breathe you unwind and watch the stars dance,

Twinkle and shine above you allowing yourself to be more and more relaxed with each passing moment.

Absorbing the cooling restful energy of the night's sky above you.

And as this practice comes to a close once again become aware of your body in relation to the space you are in.

Begin to notice the sounds around you.

Let's take one more deep inhalation and a slow long exhalation letting go.

And when you are ready gently blink your eyes open into a soft steady gaze.

Soft steady gaze.

This is a wonderful meditation. The music was one of the better backgrounds. I heard not too loud, not too soft and I like the chime at the end quite a bit. . Your voice is very soothing perfect for a nighttime meditation
