Hi,

Friend.

Take a moment to bring your awareness to your body and your surroundings.

Before we begin,

Check in with your body.

Is there a way you can get more comfortable?

Maybe readjusting how you're sitting or grabbing a blanket.

Take a moment to make yourself as comfortable as possible.

Once you've settled in,

Notice the natural pattern of your breath.

Feel the air move effortlessly in and out of your body.

Easy breaths in.

And slow effortless breaths out.

Don't force the breath or try to control it in any way.

Settle into that smooth,

Effortless rhythm of breath.

Begin to slow your breath down.

Allow each exhale to become a bit longer than your inhale.

Inhale naturally and take a long,

Slow exhale.

Each breath in is an easy breath in and a long,

Slow breath out.

Feel the weight of the upper eyelid on the lower eyelid.

Notice how it becomes heavier with each exhale.

With each exhale,

Eyes become heavier and more relaxed.

Just breathe,

Release and relax.

Now notice how with each breath cycle you move a bit deeper into stillness and relaxation.

Each breath cycle makes you just 1% more relaxed,

Like you're walking down a staircase and each exhale is a step closer to complete relaxation.

Continuing to breathe,

Become more and more relaxed and closer to sleep with each breath out.

Take one more round of this breath with the extended exhales and then release the pattern.

Settle back into your natural,

Effortless breath.

Allow yourself to be still,

Breathe,

Unwind and be.

This is where I will finish,

But feel free to rest here for as long as you like.

Be gentle with yourself and take care.
