So let's go ahead and begin in,
Like I said,
Any position that is really comfortable for you.
You want to be seated or lying down.
And then let's actually go ahead and begin to close the eyes if that is comfortable for you this evening.
And so as we've begun to close one of our sensations and you're starting to turn a little bit more inward,
Take another minute or so to make sure you are very comfortable.
So doing any last minute shifting and moving.
And of course,
Giving yourself permission throughout meditation.
If you do feel like you need to move,
Don't feel like you need to be frozen.
You can move and shift so that you are extremely comfortable.
And this meditation today is about finding clarity on what we need in the upcoming year.
What we need to align with our greater purpose.
What we need to grow.
What we need to feel whole,
Loved and beautiful.
As we begin this evening,
Let's just start really simple and just start to notice your breath.
Perhaps that means for you,
You notice the parts that expand or rise with your inhale.
And then those parts of the body that gently deflate and release with the exhale.
Or maybe perhaps you're a person who works very well with imagery.
And so you can just notice your breath as it travels in the body,
It'll travel down the torso.
And then there's a place where it changes from inhale to exhale,
And then it travels back up and then out again.
So just take a couple moments right here,
Just connecting with the breath.
Acknowledging that we are first beginning and sometimes the mind is still a bit fuzzy,
Or it's a bit busy.
And so being really nicely slow and mindful as we feel this breath as we see our breath.
And now we're going to begin adding on to the breath.
We're going to start with the number 20,
And we're going to count all the way back down to zero.
And each time that we exhale,
We are going to let go a little bit more than the number before.
And we'll make our way all the way down to zero.
And when we do,
We will feel heavy and grounded and stable.
So I will begin,
And then I will let you continue on your own.
Inhale 20.
Exhale 20,
Releasing any expectations.
Inhale 19.
Exhale,
Releasing anything that you came in with this evening.
Inhale 18.
Exhale any ideas of your intention or thoughts that you came in with about that.
Inhale 17.
Exhale,
You are open,
Free,
And trusting.
And then continue all the way back down to zero.
Each exhale,
The body gets heavier.
Each exhale,
You let go,
Soften,
Surrender,
And release.
Heavier and heavier with each exhale.
And when you make your way back to zero,
Feeling how heavy the body is,
Noticing the connection of the body with the surface below you,
Whether a chair or the floor,
Almost as if your body is merging with the ground,
Almost as if you cannot feel any space between your body and the surface below you.
And now wherever you are located,
Beginning to see an iridescent balloon beginning to travel down towards you.
And this balloon has a radiant,
Sparkling golden string attached to it.
And it makes its way down towards you as you begin to reach up and grab hold of the string.
Knowing that you are safe.
And just seeing where it begins to take you.
The body's beginning to become lighter and lighter.
You're floating up over your house or wherever you're located.
Floating up over your town.
Eventually seeing the earth below you.
Moving up through space and the astral plane.
This balloon brings you all the way up into the most perfect place you could ever imagine.
And as you make your way to this space,
You release the balloon and it gently floats away.
You feel at home here.
You feel safe.
Noticing what you might see around you.
This is your own sanctuary and you get to design exactly what it looks like.
A space in which makes you feel safe.
A space that makes you feel at home.
And as you're in this space,
Beginning to notice that a blue bubble is beginning to surround you.
It's another iridescent-type bubble.
You can see through it.
And it's about two feet away from the entire body,
Surrounding all the way down to the feet,
Making its way around the whole body.
This bubble is for protection.
And then around this bubble,
There will be a golden bubble surrounding that one.
And this one is for definitive answers and clarity.
And the last one that will surround us will be a pink bubble.
And this one is for unconditional love.
We're at home in this beautiful space.
Surrounded by these three peaceful bubbles,
Protecting,
Bringing us wisdom,
And unconditional love.
And at this time,
A figure is beginning to come in front of you.
This is your guardian angel.
What do they look like?
Maybe perhaps your angel looks like someone you have seen in a movie.
Or maybe it's just a sparkling light.
Or maybe it's even just a shape.
Knowing that you are always well taken care of.
And your guardian angel leans a little bit closer towards you and reaches out their hands as you begin to connect to their hands.
And at this time,
They share with you an intention that is for your greater purpose.
An intention for your growth.
An intention that you need to hear right now.
And this intention can come in words.
It can come in pictures.
It can come in images.
Being open to what you might hear or see.
And having no expectation of what might be seen or said.
And trust whatever you're seeing or hearing is what you need to hear or see right now.
Just be in this space.
Taking a couple more moments of being in the space.
And taking note of anything that you might have heard or seen.
And thanking your angel for being with you.
For guiding you here and always.
Knowing that you can always call out to them.
And then gently beginning to bring yourself from your beautiful safe space down back where you're located.
And your body connected to the surface below you.
And drawing your attention down to the root chakra,
Which is located around the perineum.
The root chakra is located halfway inside the body,
Halfway outside the body.
And from this space,
Beginning to see a root growing down through the foundation of where you're located.
All the way into the earth.
Bringing that stability back into the body,
Into the mind.
And feeling yourself deeply grounded in this space.
Drawing your awareness back up into your heart center.
This is located next to your physical heart,
Your heart chakra.
In this space,
We send love to other people as well as ourselves.
Before we conclude,
Sending love to someone.
Someone who you love.
Someone who might need it.
Even a stranger.
Wishing them a very beautiful new year.
And then drawing your awareness back into your own heart space.
Doing the exact same thing for yourself.
Acknowledging that you have everything you already need.
Acknowledging that you are doing your very best.
And acknowledging that you have a lot to be grateful for.
And gratitude for everything that has brought you to this point in your life.
All of the lessons,
The hardships,
The memories,
The people.
A deep heart of gratitude for this year.
For the ups,
For the downs.
A deep heart of gratitude for the people who have surrounded you this year.
Those who have taught you lessons.
Those who have supported you.
And a deep heart of gratitude for yourself.
For caring enough for yourself to set an intention for the upcoming year.
For silencing your mind for 30 minutes.
For joining in a community that deeply cares for you.
