Deciding to evolve is as easy or as difficult and as pleasurable or as painful as you dictate it to be.
Throughout this meditation,
I invite you to engage not only with your ears,
But also with your feelings to help make this meditation a part of who you are and therefore who you become.

Think of defining the best part of yourself in a single paragraph or statement.
And no matter what,
This part of you must not change and therefore is sacred.
Even if you're feeling sick or depressed,
Even if you lose your job or your home,
Even if you're not getting along with members of your family and friends,
Even if it appears the whole world is against you,
You still must return to a genuine and strong vision of yourself that cannot be diminished or forgotten.
For example,
I define myself simply as unstoppable and as a master in the making.

So how can we resolve to evolve?
I believe the answer is with training.
Here is a step by step method I use and I hope it's useful for you as well.
Step one,
Respect yourself and respect your worthy opponents that force you to grow as a human being.
Step two,
Be truly honest with yourself.
Notice what is working in your life and what is not working.
And decide to become willing to change your approach as many times as needed until you see progress in the area in your life you choose to focus on.
Step three,
Try to work everyone around you each day without guilt or complaint.
Step four,
Accept that life's successes and especially failures are growth inducing challenges that never end.
Step five,
Realize the difference between high performance and being the best is only 5% or less.
Step six,
Decide to be the hero of your life story and never the villain.
And finally,
Step seven,
View your mistakes as experiments that merely prepare you for the future because you continue to learn from them.
Take a deep breath in and out.
And again,
Breathe in and out.
Remember,
The deeper and clearer you analyze your life with the intent to improve it,
The more effective the results you will generate over time.
It only takes a moment to decide to do this.
However,
It may take hundreds,
If not thousands of hours to see significant progress.
And so,
You need to focus on compounding these hours of focus together in the shortest amount of time possible.
So instead of spreading these hours over decades,
Spread these hours over months and years.
Take a deep breath in and out.

My evolution is my responsibility.
I must adapt and I must evolve.
Because I have no other choice.
