Hello and welcome to this meditation all about having nowhere to go and no one to be.
There's a stillness in life,
A peace,
A pleasantness,
A power that's available to you wherever you go.
But that's not to say just because you're not in that space within yourself that you're failing.
We are but only human and we're learning,
We're growing each day and in each moment.
But by taking time,
Having the will to practice,
We can be more present,
More alive to the beauty that surrounds us within and without.
So if you're just sitting comfortably or lying down just close your eyes,
Breathing in,
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
Good and just welcoming and allowing the moment,
The space,
The magic to soften you,
To enable you,
Just to gently observe.
Allowing your mind,
Your heart and your body,
Just to lay down the drama,
Just for now.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Be led by the sensations in your body and whatever they are,
Just gently observe them objectively.
No need to ascribe meaning to them.
No need to open up the history book and have a theory about why they're there.
Just notice that gently observing them,
The sting,
The buzz,
Kind of diffused more and more with each breath in and each breath out.
Feel your shoulders just relax.
Feel where your ribs connect to your spine,
Just go.
Feel your breath,
Feel your belly into the front,
Into the back and into the side.
Feel a warm,
A calm and expansiveness return in between your hips,
The muscles in your bum and into your groin.
Just breathing in,
Breathing out.
Your body is just enjoying being here,
Being now,
Without an agenda.
Maybe just gently noticing its need to rest.
The freedom it feels just to be without the threat around the corner of having to jump or charge into the next scenario,
Task or interaction.
Letting these words from your own inner voice drop into your body consciousness.
Nowhere to go.
And for a couple of moments just breathing in,
Breathing out.
Maybe even repeating that into you,
Into your space.
Nowhere to go.
Feeling those words as a statement but also as a permission.
Nowhere to go.
Nowhere to go.
Nowhere to go.
Nowhere to go.
Nowhere to go.
Nowhere to go.
Nowhere to go.
And still breathing in and breathing out.
Any busyness in the front of your head or any thoughts.
Just breathing in,
Feeling that part of your mind connect back to the middle of your head.
Breathing out and feeling that part drop down through your neck.
And just almost drip and ooze connecting back into the middle of your chest.
Flowing down through your core into your stomach and the base of your spine.
And just feeling your mind and your thoughts and your emotions relax as your body did.
Feel your hands and your palms soften.
Feel your ears drop and your neck relax.
And as you feel that warmth and expansiveness in your chest.
Feel these words like a soft kiss to your entire being.
No one to be.
Nothing to defend.
Nothing to assert.
No role to play.
No expectations to meet.
Just the isness of you in this moment.
No one to be.
Feel that very special sacred part of you relax and release.
Like a reduction,
Like a letting go.
To reveal the simple and comforting core of your essence.
No one to be.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Just enjoying what that feels like for you.
Still gently breathing in and breathing out.
Like we're rippling out our intent and our imagination from this moment out.
Gently imagining how we might say or how we might benefit from perhaps even repeating this meditation but more importantly in our day to day with our eyes open and out in the busy world.
Reminding ourselves of these words and the feelings and connections from today.
Nowhere to go.
No one to be.
And with that feeling,
With that intent,
Feel your whole space inside and the environment around you soften,
Soften,
Soften.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
The music will play for a couple minutes more so just sit in it if you wish to.
Gently coming back to yourself.
No need to startle or rush.
And you're just gently practicing carrying that peace.
Able to set your own pace that's right for you.
Nowhere to go.
No one to be.
Take care and I'll see you again soon.
Bye for now.
