Hello,

This is Alessandra from Dexter and Alessandra.

And today I'm going to talk about the importance and the benefits of working in the preventative and preemptively on patterns.

So you may have heard of the expression,

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

And this is really the main reason why I'm making this video today.

And if you watch the video on forgiveness,

You will see that I make a reference to this specific video on prevention and why it's important.

So oftentimes we are busy putting fires out in our lives.

So every time that a conflict arises or a seemingly negative and detrimental circumstance or situation comes up,

We'll address it.

And there's a lot to say about addressing things preemptively,

Preventatively rather than reactively.

The reason for that and the benefit of that is that when we are reactively essentially responding to something or we are reactively addressing something,

We are already,

We've accumulated a bunch of different recordings about the situations,

Emotions,

Pain,

Trauma.

And there's going to be,

That pain is going to essentially create a lot of resistance in our system to working towards the resolution of that pattern or that whatever situation is arising.

So if we instead of putting out fires,

Which takes a lot of energy and which kind of,

If you're putting out a fire,

You're not necessarily,

For instance,

If you have a home and there's a fire in your home and you put it out,

Well then you're going to essentially probably at some point want to then clean it up and then maybe reconstruct some things.

So it's a lot of destruction and so it's a lot of energy.

And when we're in this reactive mode,

Putting out fires,

It's much more difficult for us to constructively assess,

Evaluate,

And then take steps towards resolution of patterns and making things work more effectively,

Efficiently,

More optimally.

So whether that's in your relationships,

In your health,

In your money situation,

In your career situation,

If you wait until something breaks,

If you wait until something is on fire to fix it,

There's going to be a cost,

A greater cost to doing that and it's going to not only require a lot of energy,

Time,

And resources,

It's also going to be emotionally draining and potentially challenging and it can have implications on other areas of your life where you wouldn't be able to stay in balance or to continue to put as much attention in those areas of your life because of putting out the fire and how much energy and resources and time and attention are required to put out a fire.

So what does it mean essentially to work preemptively in the preventative?

Well what that means is that if you look at your life and you see how things are unfolding in your life,

In any area of your life,

You can even make an evaluation.

For instance,

You can say,

Well,

In my career,

In my finances,

In my relationships,

In my health,

In my spiritual life,

In my meditations,

You can kind of like compartmentalize all areas of your life or dimensions of yourself and you say,

Well,

I feel good in these areas and in these other areas,

I feel like I could make more progress or I could refine or I could somehow change things in a way that I'll get greater results and I'll have more of what I want or what is in alignment,

What I perceive to be in alignment for me.

So when you make this assessment,

Then you kind of have now something to work with.

You kind of know which areas you can focus on and that's very helpful.

And then once you've done that,

That assessment,

You assess more or less where you are in each area and then you prioritize the areas that are important to you,

Where you want to spend time,

Energy,

Resources,

So that you can experience change.

And prioritization,

Maybe I'll make a video on that,

It has a lot to do with essentially what's meaningful to you,

What's going to add value to you,

Be it more peace,

More love,

More joy,

More equanimity or anything that is meaningful to you.

You're the one who gets to define that.

If you go by societal standards or measures or what your parents or what family or friends expect,

You might not get actually the results that you really want because the fulfillment and the measuring what is important to you is really a function of you and what works for you.

There's many,

Many different factors that influence why it's meaningful to you.

So once you know what's meaningful to you,

You prioritize that.

And then you kind of go and explore,

Well,

What's not working?

So where could I maybe refine the process,

Improve the process?

You can even essentially kind of explore and define how you see your different processes in relationship,

In your career,

In your money situation,

In your abundance,

In your health,

And see where there might be a lack of harmony or a lack of balance.

And once you've established that,

Then you can start to bring change.

Now the challenge with that is that if you're resonating with the problem,

If you're resonating with the breakdowns in your processes and the patterns,

It's going to be difficult for you to be consciously aware of what's not working.

You might have an idea with your analytical mind about why things are the way they are,

Why relationships are either not working or your health is the way that it is or your finances are the way that they are.

And ultimately,

If you really had the solution,

If you really knew what was happening,

You would be fixing it because you would be consciously aware of it and you would address it.

So this is all part of what we don't know,

The subconscious,

The realm of the subconscious.

So I recommend that when you make this assessment,

You do it during meditation or that you do it with a professional,

Whether it's a therapist or a life coach or a healer or someone who is really capable of understanding the subconscious mind and understanding how the subconscious mind,

Your subconscious mind is actually affecting your life,

Influencing your life results.

And then whether it's in meditation,

If you have the capacity to do it by yourself in meditation or with someone,

A professional,

Then based on what you get there,

Then you would be able to find really resolution because now you would be in the energy of the solution rather than being in the energy of the problem,

In the energy of what's not working and in the energy of the analytical mind that's trying to fix things,

Not really understanding that that's not what's not working.

And it's really when we identify what is not working at the level of the subconscious,

What are our beliefs,

Our fears,

Our judgments,

Our recordings from the past,

Our painful memories and karmas,

What is recorded in our system that is creating the breakdown,

That's not allowing for things to flow and to work optimally.

So once you do that,

Now you have a way to address those things.

You have a way to realize,

Oh,

My relationship,

For instance,

Is not flowing as smoothly as it could because in ABC areas,

I am not communicating consciously.

I'm in fear.

I have some beliefs about myself or my partner or something like that.

If you've watched the live video that I created on how to reprogram your subconscious mind,

I was talking about a client who wanted to heal and she had a lot of different beliefs about being all alone,

Not being supported and it being too much.

And once she became aware of those beliefs and she cleared them,

We helped her essentially transcend those beliefs and release them from her system,

Then she was able to access the energy and the resources that were already available to her that said she was blocking it through her subconscious mind by having those beliefs and those fears that she was all alone and it was too much and she couldn't do it.

So in the same way,

Once you know,

Once you have information about what's in your subconscious mind,

What's blocking,

The blocks in your subconscious that are preventing you from resolving a pattern,

From changing a situation,

From improving a relationship,

From enhancing your health,

From healing,

From receiving more money or getting the career that you want or continuing to climb up the ladder of consciousness in your spiritual work or your meditation,

Once you know,

Then now you are in the energy of the solution.

You can now really connect to how to go about resolving those blocks and now you can really allow yourself to feel the solution,

To feel a resolution,

To feel the state of energy and the state of being and in your environment,

The unfolding of the things that you prefer,

That you want,

That you want to receive in your life as a result of this alignment,

This internal alignment.

I'll probably make a video on internal alignment to explain in more details what that is and right now we're talking about preemptive and proactive and preventative ways of really addressing things,

Patterns and situations in your life so that they don't take up so much bandwidth,

Meaning like your energy,

Your time,

Your resources,

Your mental capacities and your attention.

So this is a very kind of like it's comprehensive and I'm also keeping it simple.

Essentially I'm giving you some major steps,

Some major blocks to start to create change,

To start to really move towards the life that you want,

To start moving towards receiving the things that you want and resolving things and not being in a state of putting out fires,

Really being in a state of constructively,

Proactively addressing things and as a result of that your life starting to flow a lot more.

You experiencing more synchronicities,

More ease in relationships,

More ease in the flow of the things that you receive in your life.

So if you for instance think about the law of attraction,

The law of attraction really being able to use it in your life in a way that things flow and you receive things quite easily in your life by understanding that the law of attraction can only work if you come into alignment,

If you release blocks.

And so releasing the blocks by understanding what they are and proactively and preemptively addressing them and resolving them,

Now your life is going to be a lot smoother as a result of that and then you'll be emotionally more able to be present,

To be aware,

To be conscious,

To be really focused on your intentions and goals because if you're putting out fires,

How much time and energy do you have then to very constructively,

Patiently,

Accurately,

Precisely,

Comprehensively essentially work towards your intentions and goals.

There's not much energy and much space left for that when you're putting out fires.

So I hope this is helpful.

Again,

This is kind of a foundation,

Like a high level understanding of the value of preemptive work and you can use,

You know,

Blocks essentially in your subconscious.

If you are interested in kind of mapping what's in your subconscious in terms of blocks,

In terms of things that are preventing you from achieving the things that you want to achieve,

Your intentions and your goals and if they are,

Let's say,

Repeating patterns in your life,

Repeating situations,

Repeating relationships that come up or something,

A situation that's not changing the way that you want it to change,

The solution,

Right,

Is going to be in your subconscious,

Meaning that the block is going to be there and understanding that is very important and if you want help with that,

What's blocking them,

What is limiting their experience of this situation or their life or themselves and then how to clear it and then how to have a different experience.
