We begin this meditation by getting really comfortable,

Super cozy.

You may want to have your favorite stuffed animal.

You may be with your grown-up in a cozy position.

You have your blankets just the way you like them.

You have the lights down low or however you like them for bedtime.

Then when all of that is ready,

Close your eyes.

Keep your eyes closed even if you want to open them and just listen to the sound of my voice.

Feel your whole body right there where it is,

Lying the way that it's lying.

Feel the blankets,

Feel the bed,

Feel whoever or whatever you're cuddling with right now.

The day is finished.

What a day it's been.

With your eyes closed,

Think back to when you first woke up this morning.

All the things you did today.

Think about all of the happy moments.

Did you laugh today?

Did you play today?

Did you smile today?

And think of all of the hard moments too.

Were you sad today?

Did you cry today?

All of the happy moments,

All of the hard moments,

They're all done now.

Laying there in your bed.

It's time to let that all go.

Even while you sleep,

You have so many good things in your life.

As you feel your breath come in and out,

Think of those good things.

Think of your grownups that love you so much.

Think of all of your friends that love you so much.

Think of your home.

Think of your toys and your things.

And as you drift off to sleep,

Know all of those things will be waiting for you when you wake up tomorrow.

Let your body relax.

Relax your head.

Relax your face.

Relax your back.

Relax your arms and your hands.

Relax your legs all the way down to your toes.

Now it's time to let go of everything and drift off to sweet sleep.

Good night.
