Good morning and welcome to The Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius and today's guided meditation practice will be on the theme of coming back to ourselves.
There are many reasons that this world can pull us away from ourselves.
Many distractions,
Much noise,
Sometimes challenging things pull us away,
Sometimes exciting things pull us away.
Our practice today,
If you are open to it,
Will be to lovingly,
Gently,
Patiently return home,
Return back to ourselves,
Back to our hearts.
Just wanted to give you a moment to let that land and to remind you however you are feeling,
However those words have impacted you,
Whatever the energy around you in this moment is,
It's valid,
It's welcome,
All of you is welcome here.
All your parts,
All your feelings,
Let's begin our meditation,
If your eyes are open,
Let's gently close them now and begin to go inwards together,
Using our breath to ground our energy,
Taking long deep breaths,
With each inhale calling ourselves back,
Calling any part of you back into your body now that might be elsewhere,
Any part that's distracted,
That's floating,
That's in a past event,
Calling those parts lovingly back into your body with your breath,
No need to force it,
No need to pull them aggressively in,
Use the breath to open your heart space and just create a welcoming home for any parts,
Calling all parts that perhaps might be in a future event,
A future scenario,
Allowing the frequency of love to gently amplify in your chest,
Slowly feeling your chest opening up,
Calling all parts of you that are in the future,
Thinking,
Excited,
Worried,
Welcome back,
Welcome back here in this moment,
And any parts that are not yet sure if they want to come back,
That's okay,
They can hang out for a moment,
We're in no rush,
All of you is welcome here,
All your parts,
Past,
Present and future,
All your feelings have a home here,
Taking a moment to feel the energy of unconditional acceptance,
Unconditional love,
Maybe you are familiar with this feeling,
Maybe it is something new for you,
And if you are open to it,
I'd like to invite you to place both hands gently on your heart in a manner that feels grounding,
Anchoring the energy of your heart in your body now,
Feeling the warmth of your hands,
Making circles around your heart space,
Continuing to feel the warmth,
The comfort,
The love here,
And you can leave your hands there,
Place them back down on your laps,
But we have activated your heart space,
We are coming back to our center,
Back to our hearts,
Back to your home,
Dear artist,
Dear creator,
If there is any part of you that is on the fence,
That is unsure,
That is considering coming back to your heart,
To yourself,
To your home,
I'd like to personally invite them back in now,
Embodying the energy of a beautiful,
Warm,
Sincere hug,
Welcome home,

You are safe here,

Loved here,
We're gonna take a moment to soften,
Perhaps that was a journey for some of you,
Allowed to go slow,
That you can't get this wrong,
There is no getting it right,
You're not supposed to feel a certain way,
There's no moment of completion,
However you feel,
However open or resistant you are to coming back to yourself,
That's just right,
It's exactly where you need to be,
Closer to ourselves inch by inch,
Gently,
What's it like here,
What do you notice,
Do your best not to judge or pursue,
Just notice,
Be curious,
What's here,
Let's take a moment before our last song,
Just to be here,
To feel here,
I don't know about you,
But there's a part of my mind that's always trying to get it right,
If I came home fully,
Then I would feel bliss,
Everything would be perfect,
Maybe I'm not here,
Where's here,
How do I get it right,
There are parts of me that aren't here yet,
Is that why I don't feel bliss and perfection,
I'm okay with that part being here forever,
It's part of the human condition,
Comparing,
And it's a really fascinating place to let go of getting it right,
And becoming present to how interesting,
How amazing,
How beautiful right here already is,
If you let go of getting it right,
You became 1% more present,
10% more present,
20% more present in this moment,
What might you see,
What might you feel,
What might be here already for you,
I'm going to stay quiet for the rest of the meditation,
And let you explore,
Bravo dear artist,

You made it to an end of a meditation,
And that is always worthy of celebration,
However open or resistant you were for our meditation,

A reminder that you can't get it right,
There is no final destination,
And also a reminder that when we can get really present to this moment,
Often,
The things we have been longing for,
Our deepest desires,
Exist already right here,
Let's take one more deep breath here together,
