This gentle yet powerful meditation guides you through the art of letting go — of stories, patterns, emotions, relationships or anything you no longer wish to carry. Through compassionate awareness, breath, and intention, you’ll be held in a space of safety and softness to release what no longer serves you. You’ll be invited to connect with your heart, tune into your body, and create spaciousness within. As the old gently falls away, you’ll be supported to invite in something new — peace, lightness, trust, or whatever your soul needs most. A beautiful practice to return to any time you feel heavy, stuck, or ready for a fresh start.

Hello and welcome,

My name is Daniel Collins and it is a pleasure to practice with you today.

We'll start by finding a comfortable position,

Whether seated or lying down.

Gently close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths through your nose.

Now,

Bring your awareness into your body,

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.

Notice the contact of your body with the surface beneath you,

Supporting you,

Grounding your energy.

As you continue to breathe,

Slowly scan through your body from head to toe,

Noticing tension or tightness,

Any areas that feel heavy or contracted.

Every time you exhale,

Imagine those places softening,

Loosening,

Releasing.

Now I invite you to bring one hand to your heart and the other to your belly.

Feel the warmth of your own touch,

Feel your own presence,

Your own love.

Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.

And here I invite you to set an intention,

To let go,

To release what no longer serves you,

To create space.

If it feels right,

Silently say to yourself,

It is safe to let go.

I am ready to let go.

Letting go doesn't mean we forget or that we approve of things that have happened.

It means we free ourselves from carrying it around with us.

It's a loving act of self liberation.

So,

As you breathe,

I invite you to imagine something you're ready to release.

Maybe it's an old story,

A fear,

A disappointment,

Or a pattern that's keeping you stuck.

Without any judgement,

Just witness whatever it is you want to release.

And as you exhale,

Imagine it beginning to dissolve,

Continuing to breathe,

And with each exhalation,

It gets smaller and smaller,

Until it completely disappears.

We'll take three deep breaths to support this release.

With each exhale,

Allow yourself to let go a little more.

Take a deep breath in,

And sigh it out.

Another deep breath in,

And sigh it out,

Release.

And as you breathe out,

Feel it all falling away.

Now that you've made space,

You can invite in something new.

Maybe it's peace,

Love,

Trust,

Or lightness.

You choose.

And let it fill the places where the heaviness once was.

Feel your heart opening,

Your body softening,

Your energy expanding.

And repeat silently,

Or aloud if you feel cold,

I am free.

I am at peace.

I trust the flow of life.

I am free.

I am at peace.

I trust the flow of life.

I am free.

I am at peace.

I trust the flow of life.

Take a moment to tune in and notice the shifts within you,

The softness,

The lightness,

The sense of freedom.

When you're ready,

Begin to invite gentle movement back into your body.

Move or stretch in any way that feels good.

Bring both your hands now to your heart in prayer.

Grateful for this practice and grateful for your willingness to let go.

Thank you for sharing this practice with me,

Sending you so much love.
