Go ahead and close your eyes now and just let your entire body start to relax.

Imagining now that your body gets floppy as a fish,

Relaxing your body from head to toe.

Starting with the top of your head,

Feeling it release.

Relaxing your forehead,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw,

Your ears,

Your nose,

And your chin.

Relaxing your neck and your shoulders.

Resting both of your arms,

Allowing them to get heavy,

And feeling the relaxation spread all the way down to the tips of your fingers.

The relaxation moves down your chest,

Across your belly,

Down both of your legs,

Past your kneecaps,

Your calves,

Across the tip of your feet,

All the way down to your toes.

Your whole body is relaxed now,

Floppy as a fish.

Go ahead and pay attention to your breathing now.

Imagining that your inhales are like a wave going up and your exhales are like waves crashing down.

Your whole body feels peaceful.

Your whole body feels relaxed.

You have nowhere to be,

But right here,

Everything else can wait,

Just for this moment.

Letting go of all of the things that happened today.

The big inhale in,

And a big exhale out.

Leave it all here.

You imagine now that you are an underwater explorer.

You glide peacefully along the ocean floor,

Kicking up sand and reeds.

Your body feels so light,

So free.

There is nothing weighing you down.

Notice the temperature of the water on your skin.

Is it warm?

Is it cool?

You are dressed in your underwater explorer outfit,

And you can't wait for today's adventure.

Every day under the sea brings something different,

But you know that today is going to be an exciting one.

As you look around,

You notice a school of brightly colored fish to your right,

So you decide to swim a little bit closer to them.

They swim in a beautiful pattern,

And as you watch,

You become mesmerized by their rhythm and their beauty.

Being here reminds you to zoom out of your head,

And to place yourself back into the beauty of life.

Being here reminds you to let go of any thoughts of the past,

To rest your thoughts of the future,

And to just be in this moment,

Under the sea,

Right here,

Right now.

A pod of dolphins swims by you calmly.

You reach out and let one of their noses brush your hand.

They are so friendly.

The dolphin lets you hold on to its fin,

And it gently takes you for a little ride around the ocean.

You feel totally safe here,

Gliding with them all around.

This is the most fun that you've had in a really long time.

Being under the sea reminds you just how much calm there is in your life already.

There's so much peace all around you.

All you have to do is look for it.

Hold this peace and this calm in your mind for just a little bit longer.

It feels nice to be calm,

And it feels nice to be peaceful.

Next,

You run into a squiggly octopus.

He is big,

Purple,

With eight long,

Long legs.

His eyes are large,

And they bulge out the top of his head.

As he swims near you,

You watch his legs squiggle through the water,

Softly and calmly.

As he dances through the water,

You are captivated by his beauty.

He reminds you how beautiful your life is.

He reminds you of all of the beautiful people in your life,

And all of the beautiful places you have seen.

Your octopus friend swims and glides away,

But you're sure you'll see him again the next time you come under the sea.

You turn around,

And you see some little red crabs walking along the ocean floor.

Their little legs move quickly.

They dart from shell to shell,

Rock to rock.

You find them fascinating to watch.

Watch them now for just a little bit longer.

Next,

You spot a seahorse with a big curved back and a long tail,

Tube for a mouth.

Her tail is attached to some reeds.

This seahorse is sleeping there,

Peacefully,

And she's attached herself so she doesn't float away with the current.

Her skin is bumpy as ever,

Her eyes closed peacefully.

She rides the waves as she sleeps.

Next,

You see some beautiful starfish along the bottom of the ocean.

You can see their bumpy,

Rough texture from all the way up here.

So you decide to swim a little bit closer,

A little bit closer,

A little bit closer,

And finally,

You're nice and close to the starfish.

They are beautiful.

Go ahead and inhale in like a wave rising up,

And exhale out like a wave crashing down.

One more time.

Inhale in through your nose like a wave rising up,

And exhale out like a wave crashing down.

This has been the most magical and peaceful adventure you have ever been on,

And you feel so sleepy now.

I want you to think about what other creatures you can see in the ocean.

Go ahead and think about all of those creatures now,

And whenever you're done,

You can drift off and have the sweetest dreams.
