Allow yourself to settle.

Come,

Close your eyes and rest.

Breathe deeply.

Plenty of hand movement,

Take a deep breath.

Feel the body beginning to relax.

Notice it sinking heavily into the support beneath you.

As you inhale,

Imagine that air moving deeply through your lungs and into the depth of your belly,

Expanding it full and rich with air.

And as you exhale,

Contract your belly,

Emptying it completely,

Ready for an even deeper,

More powerful breath.

Breathe deeply,

Pulling air in through the lungs,

Down into the belly,

Deeper and deeper,

Expanding wider and wider,

Holding that breath just for a moment.

And then exhale completely,

Contracting the muscles,

Pulling that belly into the spine,

Until the air is completely expelled.

Breathe.

Feel your body relax just a little bit more.

Notice the weight of your head.

Feel your shoulders drop and the neck relax.

Imagine any tension you feel falling away like leaves from a tree,

Easily letting go.

And any tension like leaves letting go of the branch and floating effortlessly down and away.

Feel the muscles across the chest let go.

Let your belly soften.

Feel the muscles along your spine melt like wax.

Let your arms sink.

Breathe into the palms of your hands and feel the skin across the back of your hands relax.

Feel your fingers let go.

Let your hips drop heavy so the thighs relax,

The knees relax.

Let your ankles let go and allow the feet to fall open and you can feel your toes release.

Breathe.

And as you breathe,

Imagine a soft lavender light gathering at the top of your head.

See this lavender cloud of light beginning to surround you.

Moving from the top of your head,

Down your neck and around your shoulders.

And as this lavender light moves down and around your body,

Swirling and drifting softly,

Surrounding you completely.

Notice that your mind becomes soft.

Thoughts are hazy and quiet until there is nothing in the beautiful expanse of your mind but this soft lavender light.

Filling you,

Surrounding you,

Gently lifting you in complete love and support.

Every breath allowing this lavender light to permeate every cell of your body.

Healing,

Renewing,

Soothing you from head to toe.

You are at ease,

Completely relaxed and at peace.

Breathing easily,

Your body soft and heavy,

Your mind quiet.

Your heart at peace.

And there is a breath.

And rain falls within the stars of heaven.

So light and cool and quiet.

And there is a heartbeat,

Softly thrumming.

Wings of a butterfly.

Velvet.

So small the world shimmers in its reflection.

And there is the smell of warm leaves across the wind.

Eyes so blue and hands of light.

And hair like silk robes of silver.

Through your fingers and along the river of love.

The water falls and softer earth cushions rest along the banks.

A breath.

A sigh.

The soft curl of lambs wool and feathers grass.

Flowers sing.

And light comes.

Soft waves of light gather.

Gather warm and sweet.

Come love.

Come light.

Come warm and sweet.

A sigh.

A sigh.

A sigh.

Warm and sweet.

Dream.

Very helpful when I couldn’t sleep with jet lag three days after a 20 hr flight. Trying meditation and body scans on my own didn’t help. I fell sleep halfway through this track and woke up briefly just to take off my headphones when I turned to sleep on my side. Thank you!
