This guided meditation invites you to find protection and peace by connecting with the five elements. We will journey through the chakras, inviting alignment into each of them before calling upon each element for its protective energies. Positive affirmations will be offered for heightening a sense of protection, security, and stability.

Welcome to a guided meditation for finding protection within the elements.

Begin in a position that is comfortable for you.

This can be sitting or lying down,

Allowing the body to sink into the earth and be supported by the earth.

Allow the eyes to close and soften.

Relax the body completely,

Allowing the neck and shoulders to soften.

As the body becomes more relaxed,

Feel yourself letting go of any tension you might be storing.

Take note of any places where you feel you might be holding stress or tension,

And allow those areas to soften and release what is not contributing to your highest good.

Always know that you are in a safe environment and sacred space.

Visualize the entire body rooting into and being supported by the earth.

Now move the awareness to the sound of the breath as it flows freely and naturally between the nostrils.

Notice the feeling of the breath as it enters and leaves the body.

Simply take note of the breath without altering it.

Simply be in this moment.

With each inhale,

The body is becoming more and more relaxed.

The body is becoming soft and calm.

Allow this feeling of relaxation to grow inch by inch throughout the body.

Inhale a sense of protection.

Exhale any fears.

Breathe in resilience.

Breathe out that which is in conflict with your strength.

As you open yourself up to divine love,

Breathe energy into the root chakra,

Your center of stability and belonging.

Begin to see,

Sense,

And feel this energy traveling up through each of the chakras.

The sacral chakra,

Your center of creativity and choice.

The solar plexus chakra,

Your center of power.

The heart chakra,

Your center of love and compassion.

The throat chakra,

Your center of self-expression.

The third eye chakra,

Your center of intuition.

The crown chakra,

Your center of knowledge and wholeness.

Spend a few moments inviting strength and alignment into each of these energy centers.

We will now call upon the five elements,

Speaking an affirmation at each of them.

I call upon the element of air.

May mighty winds sweep away that which seeks to harm me.

May gentle breezes bring me inspiration and remind me that I am safe.

I cleanse my personal space,

Making way for that which loves and supports me.

I call upon the element of fire.

May each of my steps be illuminated and darkness dispelled.

May I always find warmth and comfort.

I shine light upon negative illusions so that my journey may be unobstructed.

I call upon the element of water.

Wash me of fear and any thoughts that do not contribute to my highest good.

I send doubt and worry rushing away from me so that sacred waters may spring forth.

I call upon the element of earth.

May I always know balance,

Wisdom and security.

May I stand in strength and resilience.

I stand firm and unshakable,

Anchored and wise.

Able to discern that which is true and that which is false.

I call upon spirit.

May my connection to the universe and all living things,

The bridge between the physical and celestial realms,

Remain unbroken.

May I never forget that I am co-creative in all things and therefore may my thoughts,

Words and actions be those which bring peace and love to myself and all living things.

Take a few moments now to surround yourself with the elements,

Feeling shielded within them,

Empowered by them.

Feel protection also coming through your affirmations.

Bring the awareness back to the breath,

The natural,

Quiet breath.

Go in and out of the body.

Maintain awareness of the breath and feel it growing stronger and steadier.

Take a slow,

Conscious,

Deep breath in and release it completely.

Allow the mind to become external now.

Shift the attention to sounds within this room,

The sound of the breath,

Sounds of the earth,

The sound of my voice.

Be aware of the sounds around you.

Be aware of the body.

Be aware of the breath.

Begin to invite subtle movements into the hands and feet,

The fingers and toes.

Take another deep breath and release it slowly.

Surrounded by the elements,

May you walk in peace and strength,

Calling upon the abundance of protective energies within you to guide each step of your journey.
