One step at a time, we will explore a path that brings us to a choice. We must decide, based solely on intuition, which path will support our emotional well-being and then trust that path to bring us to the right ending point

Welcome to your session today.

My name is Shannon Moyer,

And we will be going down a visualization of paths today.

You will be encouraged to choose between two different paths,

Considering your emotional choices,

Drawing in the details and understanding that the space that we create on these paths is reflective of what we are going through in our real life,

In real time.

I encourage you to get comfortable with your body.

Listen to what it is that it needs and it wants.

Sink in,

Close the windows of your eyes,

And allow your mind to start to drift away.

Breathing in gently through your nose,

Anchoring that breath down into your feet,

And starting to visualize your feet standing at the edge of a forest,

At the edge of a path.

Draw in the details of what this path is made of.

Maybe it's a dense forest floor.

Maybe it's rocky,

A bit jagged and unsteady.

Whatever it is,

Whatever it is made of,

Is showing up for you exactly here in this moment,

Just for you.

Recognize what is on your feet.

Maybe you're barefoot.

Maybe you have shoes or sandals.

Drawing in the details helps the visualization become real.

Breathing down deeply into your body,

And I invite you to start making your way down the path,

One step at a time.

Again,

Drawing in the details of what's growing along the sides of the path.

What's growing up overhead?

Feeling the warmth or the coolness of the air on your skin.

Is there sunlight where you are?

What can you hear and what can you smell?

As you continue to walk,

You can see up ahead of you that the path starts to wind.

It curves and it undulates ever so slightly.

I encourage you to just follow the path.

As you start to consider who you are in this space,

What emotions are you carrying here?

Is there something hard and difficult and heavy that is weighing you down?

Keep walking one step at a time,

One foot in front of the other,

And maybe slowing down ever so slightly.

There's no rush today.

We can go slow,

We can be gentle,

We can be mindful in our exploration down this path.

It's leading us to a choice.

So keep walking one step at a time,

One foot in front of the other,

Trusting each of those steps forward.

And if your eyes are gazing down towards the forest floor and your feet,

I invite you to raise them up and recognize that you're coming to a fork in the road.

The path starts to split into two,

A right side and a left.

This is where we have choice.

There is no right or wrong answer.

Intuitively choosing right or left,

Considering the emotions that you carry today and how potentially going down the left or the right could influence how you deal with those emotions.

Make your choice and then start to make your way down that chosen path.

It doesn't matter which side you choose.

All that matters is that you make the choice and you take the step forward.

Walking down your chosen path and starting to recognize how it changes.

Maybe there's something growing there just for you,

A symbol of how you're going to deal with these big emotional changes and choices.

Take a moment to explore it.

What's there?

What's growing?

What symbol is there just for you?

You're welcome to scoop it up,

Put it in your pocket,

Or you can simply leave it where it is,

Recognizing why it's there.

Keep walking down your chosen path and looking over to the opposite side,

Realizing that the two paths will come back together.

Yes,

You have diverged and gone off in search of what waits for you,

But the path home will always continue to be.

As the paths come back together,

You are welcome to walk down the opposite path to come back to where you started from.

You have already found what it is that you need today.

The message,

The symbol.

You found it in making that initial choice.

You've collected its wisdom and now you get to bring it back to where you started.

Keep walking one step at a time until you come back to the start of the original path.

There in that space of visualization,

Placing hands over heart to seal in this practice,

To give gratitude and thanks to the path that you chose and the symbol that you found.

Emotions,

Heaviness,

All of those things that happen in our real life experience can be heavy,

But we always have a choice.

And maybe here today you have found a reminder of that choice in finding a symbol along that path.

Taking a few more cycles of breath in and out,

Knowing that you can come back here and you can choose either the right or the left anytime you are faced with,

How do I want to deal with this?

How do I want to feel about this?

Anytime there is a choice,

You have the authority to choose what feels intuitively right for you in the moment.

And these paths are representative of that.

Taking a big breath in and out before opening your eyes and letting in the light.

These paths are here anytime you need them.

I am here anytime you need me.

And you always,

Always have a choice.
