Welcome to your meditation class today.
My name is Shannon Moyer-Semonier and I will be leading you through an affirmations of worth practice today.
Find yourself in a comfortable space.
Get grounded into your body and into your breath.
And when it feels right for you,
Allowing the windows of your eyes to gently close.
If at any time you feel distracted by thoughts or by sound,
Know that you can always bring your awareness back to your breath.
Noticing the coolness of the inhalation on the edges of your nostrils and the warmth as you let that breath go.
Today we will be going into a space of meditation,
Not visualization,
With the goal of filling ourselves up from toes to crown with affirmations of worth.
Take a few cycles of breath just to melt down into your space.
Allow your body to be heavy today.
There's nothing else that needs your attention but being here,
Melting down,
Anchoring into the breath,
Knowing that you are deserving and worthy of this time.
As you're drawing your awareness down to your feet,
We will simultaneously scan the body while incorporating affirmations of worth.
Our first affirmation,
Very simply,
Is I am worthy.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am kind.
Gently drawing that breath and awareness up into your knees.
I am worthy because I am strong.
I am worthy because I am strong.
I am worthy because I am strong.
Breathing gently up into the space of the hips.
I am worthy because I am gentle.
I am worthy because I am gentle.
I am worthy because I am gentle.
Drawing your breath and your awareness into your belly.
I am worthy because I am compassionate.
I am worthy because I am compassionate.
I am worthy because I am compassionate.
Now breathing up into the space of your heart and if it feels right,
Placing both hands over top.
I am worthy because I am loving.
I am worthy because I am loving.
Taking a gentle pause here.
You are strong.
You are gentle.
You are compassionate.
You are loving.
Breathing up into the crown of your head.
I am worthy because I exist.
I am worthy because I exist.
I am worthy because I exist.
On your next inhalation,
I invite you to return back down to your feet.
And one by one,
Saying these affirmations of worth.
Loudly,
With conviction.
I am worthy.
I am worthy because I am kind.
I am worthy because I am strong.
I am worthy because I am gentle.
I am worthy because I am compassionate.
I am worthy because I am loving.
I am worthy because I exist.

You are worthy simply because you breathe,
Exist,
And move in this world.
You are kind.

And you exist here with purpose and worth.
Taking a few more cycles of breath in and out of that beautiful body of yours.
Hands over heart.

Wiggling fingers and toes,
