Hello,
My sweet little friends.
This is a special.
We're going to do a Heidi,
Cherry and Vea story on video.
Let's get started.
Make sure that you're in your bed.
You're all calm and comfy.
You've got out all of the wiggles.
And you're ready to sleep.
You're ready to let go of your day.
So that you can get snuggly and warm and comfy in your bed right as you listen to the story.
And this time,
You can watch the stars.
We'll see what you think.
Let me know what you think,
Right?
Write to me and let me know what you think.
Okay,
So this story is all about Jaden,
Lee,
And Grace.
My three little friends.
The cat's friends.
Heidi,
Cherry and Vea.
We're going to do a mud run.
They've done a mud run before.
It was absolutely horrendous.
It was very,
Very muddy.
Very muddy indeed.
But you know,
They were excited because it had been a long time.
And you know,
When you've done something a long time ago and then you forget how terrible it was.
It's kind of like that.
It was like that for the cat.
Jaden.
Smart Jaden and his smart ideas.
I'd sign them up for the mud run because.
.
.
This is really sweet of him It raises money for the community.
Right.
So if you pay to do the mud run,
Which.
They did.
Then that money goes to the community.
It helps the community out in different ways and who doesn't think that's great i mean well done jayden that's a great thing to do for the community So the cat.
We're all about it.
And Jaden's friends,
Lee and Grace,
They were good to go too.
They were very excited about it.
The girls had got on like super cute leggings.
They got their runners on and a big jogging sweatshirt.
They looked super cute.
The cat.
Looked very cute.
Cherry was wearing a purple headband with purple wristbands and a purple.
.
.
Kind of running suit it swished a little bit when she walked you know one of those running suits that sounds crispy like The material sounds like a rain jacket or something.
It was like that.
She had like a zip-up sweatshirt,
Like a zip-up jacket,
And then.
.
.
These crispy pants that went with it,
In purple to match her headband and her wristbands,
And she looked awesome.
Heidi was wearing a black t-shirt and some black yoga shorts like the short legging type things and some sweater not sweaters sneakers okay and then Veja.
She looked adorable.
She had a rainbow T-shirt on that sparkled in the sunlight.
And she had like a pair of exercise shorts with like a frilly tiara over it.
In pink.
She looks so sweet.
They were all at the beginning of the mud run.
Cherry said to Vea,
OMG Vea,
You know what?
I just remembered.
I just remembered something really awful about these things.
There's mud!
And that means.
.
.
You're going to look muddy.
Your outfit's going to get muddy.
You're going to ruin your outfit.
I'm going to ruin my outfit.
This is my new trackie.
Tracky.
Said Vea.
What's a trackie?
Tracky!
No,
My tracksuit!
That's what Corey says they call him in England.
They call him trackies.
Yeah.
So I'm going to do tracking.
Heidi said,
Well,
I'm glad I'm wearing black.
Jayden said,
Oh,
Come on,
Guys,
You're going to be fine.
It's worth every penny.
Remember,
It's for charity.
Jayden was right.
It was for charity.
So Cherry said,
I went,
Gee,
Jayden,
All right.
Alright,
Stop rubbing it in that you're so perfect.
Grace and Lee started laughing.
Jayden's definitely not perfect,
Sadly.
Grace said,
Well,
Nobody's really perfect,
Are they?
If you think about it.
But what does perfect mean?
What is perfect?
Like if you were to see a picture of someone that was perfect and it said next to them,
Perfect.
What would they be?
Would they be like super handsome?
Or really pretty,
Really tall,
Really small,
Really curvy,
Really skinny?
Would they be really brainy or really like quick-witted?
What is perfect?
And if you think about it,
Perfect is kind of boring.
What if there's a perfect person that doesn't have any.
.
.
Cracks.
Of laws.
Or things that are quirky about them.
Things that are different about them.
What if the whole world had perfect people?
Cherry said.
Oh,
Gee,
Gosh,
You're so deep.
We're supposed to be doing a fun mud run,
Not talking about philosophy of the earth.
But you're right,
You know,
You're right.
You know,
Perfect is kind of boring,
Isn't it?
And who's to say that with all your flaws and all the things that are wrong and all your warts and your spots and your lumps and your bumps and your nuts and your crannies and your hairy moles.
You know like that woman what she called that scary woman on Matilda What is it now?
What's she called?
Jade inside.
Oh,
Gosh,
I know what you mean.
Mrs.
Trenchbold?
Yeah!
Look at her.
She's scary.
But you know,
You could say.
.
.
She's perfect.
You could say she was perfect,
Right?
Couldn't you?
Even though it's a little bit difficult to think about her being perfect.
Yeah,
She's really scary,
Said Cherry once again.
Maybe.
Think about somebody.
That's more easy to think they're perfect.
Said Lee.
Maybe somebody like.
.
.
Cherry interrupted and said,
Mwah!
What?
Like me?
Everybody.
Everybody rolled their eyes like,
Oh.
Cheers,
Cheers again.
Because,
You know,
If you think about it,
If you think about me as an example of perfection,
Right?
I'm so funny.
I'm so smart.
I'm so,
Like,
Awesome.
I'm so fashionable.
I'm so,
Like,
Healthy.
I'm very,
Very fit.
I can do so many things.
I'm multidextrous.
I'm,
Like,
So popular.
I'm like famous on ticky-tocky.
Insta loves me.
YouTube loves me.
I've got so many friends.
I would say.
But that's a really good example of being perfect.
Grace said,
Mmm.
I think that's a really good example of being confident,
Cherry.
Self,
Um,
Not self-important.
Cherry was going.
As if to say,
What?
What do you mean?
Not self-important.
No,
No,
No.
Very high with self-esteem.
You have very good self-esteem,
Cherry.
How about we say that?
Cherry said,
Yeah,
You know,
Right.
Another thing added to me list of goodness,
All the things that I am good at,
Including.
Confident?
Self esteemed.
And very assertive.
Positive and so positive.
I believe in myself.
I love moi.
Cherry started to kiss her arm as if she was kissing herself.
I love moi so much.
And she was kissing herself again.
Everyone should be as perfect as me.
Jaden said,
Yeah,
But if we were all the same as you,
Then really it would be boring.
This is all the conversation that's going on and taking place before the mud run even started,
Guys.
They were standing in a big crowd of people having this deep discussion about perfection.
And is it even possible to be a perfect person?
What do you think?
Anyway.
Of a sudden this big bang goes off as if to say the race is starting so the kids and the cat all start to do the mud run.
Running up little hills and down little hills and then as they get to the bottom of this quite big hill there's a massive massive mass pool of mud that they have to walk on boards across to get across and if you fall off the planks like the boards You're done for.
Everybody was falling off these planks,
Guys.
No one was making it look easy at all.
It was looking quite difficult,
To say the least.
They have fell off.
She sat in the mud for a minute.
She looked very sad.
She looked down at her skirt.
Biscuit.
Heidi ran across on the plank,
Not managing to fall off yet,
And said,
It's okay there,
It'll wash.
Heidi managed to get all the way to the other side.
And not fall in.
Fell in straight away.
Tonic!
She said,
Smacking the mud around her.
Oh,
Actually,
It feels quite nice and cold.
I was getting a bit sweaty.
This is lovely,
Actually.
Oh,
I could do a facial.
Cherry started to rub the mud on her face.
Veja laughed.
It cheered for your wrap.
Vea rubbed the mud on her face and said,
Oh my,
Yes,
It does feel very nice.
It's kind of like a spa day.
Jayden fell in.
Grace fell in.
Lee fell in.
They were all there.
In the pile of mud.
Pretending they were having a spa day.
Laughing.
And then everybody that ran past that slipped off fell in themselves.
Rubbed mud on their faces pretending that they were having a spa day with the cats and the kids There was only Heidi and a few other people on the other side that made it to the other side.
But,
You know,
Heidi thought,
Oh,
I'm missing out.
That looks like a lot of fun.
I think i'm gonna go back So she went back on the plank.
And jumped.
In the pile of mud.
Next to all of her friends,
Covered her face in mud.
And said,
Oh yeah,
This does feel good.
There's so much laughter coming from that pile of mud.
Everybody was having a very fun time.
And so they should because they're,
You know.
They're doing it for charity.
Supposed to be fun.
You're supposed to be happy when you're making money for someone,
Right?
For the community.
It's supposed to make you feel good.
You're supposed to be happy about it.
You're not supposed to take it so serious.
They eventually did finish the mud run race.
The cats gave the kids big hugs.
And God drove home.
When they got home they had a nice long warm shower with lots and lots of soap they had mud in every nook and cranny including deep deep deep in their ears But eventually,
They got clean.
And then they dried off.
And then they brush their teeth.
Because it was nighttime.
You gotta get all the plaques.
And germs and everything else off your teeth.
Before you go to bed.
And then they put on their comfortable pajamas.
And hopped into their big self.
Comfy.
Cap it.
They fell fast.
The sleep.
The.
Go to sleep.
Nightly night,
Sweetie pie.
