Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Make sure that you're snuggly and warm in your bed,

That you can relax your body and get comfortable.

Maybe close your eyes,

Take a nice big deep breath and start to let your body get super,

Super relaxed.

Tucker and Leo were hanging out at their house.

Lottie and Tom,

Their friends,

Had come over.

Lottie was a girl,

Tom was a boy.

They were playing in their back garden.

Lottie threw Tucker a soft toy.

It looked like a dinosaur.

It had a squeaky middle so when he bit on it,

It squeaked.

Tucker liked it a lot.

Lottie was trying to pull it out of his mouth and Tucker was playing tug-of-war with it and then she got it back and Tucker looked at it and said,

Where did that toy come from?

That's not my toy.

Leo was laid down scratching his ears.

He stopped scratching and looked at the toy.

It was a grey dinosaur.

Like I said,

It had a squeaky thing in the middle.

Mummy didn't buy me that toy.

Leo,

Is that your toy?

Leo said,

No,

No,

That's not my toy.

Tom said to Lottie,

Where did you find it?

Lottie said,

I found it over there on the grass.

I thought it were Tucker and Leo's toy.

Tucker said,

Oh,

It's an imposter toy.

It's a toy that's been sent from outer space to spy on us by the aliens.

Leo said,

It's probably more like one of the neighbours' toys.

Lottie said,

Oh,

Maybe there's a doggie down the hill or maybe like next door that's missing its toy and somehow it got through over here.

Leo said,

There is a dog that lives next door.

I don't know what he's called.

The houses to the left don't have dogs in.

Just the one to the right.

Lottie looked at Tom and said,

Maybe we could go on like a hunt and go knock at all the neighbours' doors and see who the dinosaur belongs to.

Tucker said,

Do I really?

Well,

What if I want to keep that dinosaur though?

I really like that dinosaur.

It squeaks when you bite him and it's like he's going,

Meow,

Meow,

Which is quite funny,

You know.

Well,

It's probably a little bit not funny because poor dinosaur is in pain when I'm chewing on him.

That's,

Oh yeah,

Maybe I don't like that dinosaur so much.

Maybe that's a good idea,

Lottie.

Let's go.

Come on,

Tom.

Let's go.

You and Lottie can get the leads and take me and Leo on a nice walk around the neighbourhood and we'll go on our road first and then we'll go one street down because I'm thinking the gardens or there's some of those doggies down there.

There's definitely doggies down there because they run up to the top.

There's one of them called Pixel,

I think.

Pixel.

Leo said,

Pixar.

Yes,

That's it.

One of them's called Pixar and then there's a Scotty dog next door called Scotty,

Which is very appropriate.

So,

Yes,

Maybe it was them that like spat that toy in my garden through the fence,

The dirty tricksters.

Leo said,

That's probably what happened.

That's what I'm thinking.

Otherwise,

It was like an aeroplane going through the sky and some dog on a flight to Japan somehow lost his toy out of the window.

Tucker was totally taken in by that story,

Even though Leo was joking because,

You know,

You can't open the windows on an aeroplane.

Tucker said,

Oh my gosh,

What are we going to do if that's the case?

They're never going to get their chewy dinosaur back,

Are they?

Leo just smiled.

Oh,

Tucker.

As if to say,

Tucker,

You are silly.

But Tucker didn't get it.

He was too busy thinking about that poor dog flying to Japan,

Losing his chewy toy.

Lottie went inside.

She got the dog collars and then Tom put Leo's on and Lottie put Tucker's on.

They told Tucker and Leo's mom what they were going to go do and then they went outside.

They started with the house to the right because the house on the left did not have any dogs.

The house on the right had a big sign on it that said no soliciting.

Tom said,

Maybe we shouldn't go here.

Lottie said,

Well,

We're not soliciting.

We're not trying to sell anything.

We're actually giving away something.

So they knocked on the door.

The lady who lived next door to Tucker and Leo answered.

She was a very nice,

Smiley lady.

The dog was barking in the back garden.

It obviously knew that someone was barking at their front door.

And it was letting the whole street know that it was ready to pounce and kill if it needed to.

Tucker had the dinosaur hanging out of his mouth.

Lottie said,

We are just wondering if this is your dog's toy.

Tucker held up his mouth so that the lady next door could see the toy more clearly.

Tucker,

In his own way,

Said,

Yes,

It's a delicious dinosaur.

It's probably a 1995 model.

And then he started laughing.

The lady didn't understand a word that Tucker was saying.

To her,

It just sounded like Tucker was going,

Kind of like Scooby-Doo.

It wasn't the next door neighbour's dog that owned the dinosaur.

So they kept going.

They went all the way down the hill,

Knocking on the door,

Seeing if anybody had a dog and if the dinosaur belonged to that dog.

No results at all.

Then they crossed the road and went all the way up the hill.

Even though it would be very unlikely that a toy would go flying from across the street's back garden.

Because,

I mean,

How is that going to happen?

But they thought they best give it a try.

Most of the houses across from Tucker and Leo did not have dogs.

A lot of the people weren't even home.

They were at work,

But there were no dogs barking inside the property.

So they kind of assumed that that wasn't going to be the house.

And then they went down the hill,

Down the hill onto the next street that had the gardens directly next to Tucker and Leo's gardens.

They started all the way at the bottom.

Nope.

Nope.

Nope.

They got to the fourth house up and it was a no.

They got to the fifth house up that would have been the garden where Pixel lived.

They knocked at the door.

Pixel was barking on the back garden.

One of the kids answered,

Hiya.

Tom said,

We are looking to see if this toy that Tucker's carrying belongs to your dog,

Pixel.

The little girl looked at the dinosaur that was in Tucker's mouth and then looked at Tucker.

And then she said,

How did you get Pixel's toy?

All upset with Tucker.

Tucker looked all surprised and shocked and a little bit embarrassed.

And then he said,

I didn't.

It was in my garden.

I didn't take Pixel's toy.

I have plenty of my own toys,

Even though I really do like this dinosaur.

Watch,

Watch,

Watch,

Watch,

Watch,

Watch what it does.

Tucker started aggressively chewing on the toy and it made lots of loud squeaking noises.

And the girl said instantly,

That's Pixel's.

Drop it.

Lottie said,

Tucker didn't take the toy.

He found it on his own garden.

Kind of getting a little bit defensive for Tucker because this girl down the road wasn't being very nice to Tucker.

Drop the toy,

She said again.

Tucker instantly,

Because he's a good boy,

Dropped the toy and the toy fell near his paws.

Lottie picked up the toy and she gave it to the girl.

We were just being good neighbours,

Said Lottie.

There's no need to be upset with Tucker.

Like I said,

Tucker found it in his garden.

Pixel should maybe keep an eye on where his toys are going.

And maybe Pixel shouldn't throw his toys in Tucker and Leo's garden.

Tom said,

Yeah,

Exactly.

The girl said,

Oh,

I see your point.

Sorry about that.

I just assumed that.

Tom said,

Well,

Assuming is not very smart.

Sometimes it can get you into trouble.

The girl didn't know what to say and she got a little bit flushed in the face.

A little bit embarrassed because she realised she was being quite rude at the beginning without finding out all the facts.

She just assumed that Tucker stole Pixel's toy.

Tucker would never steal Pixel's toy.

Tucker,

Apart from wanting to chew on kitties sometimes,

Was a very good dog.

Well,

Not so good at the dog beach and also not so good at the dog park.

And and sometimes he pulls really a lot on his lead.

But still,

Tucker was a good boy.

He definitely didn't steal toys.

Unless you wanted to play with him with a toy that belonged to you.

And then maybe you would,

To be honest with you.

The girl ended up saying sorry about that.

And then feeling a little bit embarrassed with herself,

She just said bye and closed the door.

Tucker was left with no toy.

So is that it?

No dinosaur?

Lottie reached down and gave Tucker a nice rub between his ears and said,

No,

Sorry,

Tucker.

It belonged to Pixel.

Oh,

I really like that dinosaur.

Even though,

Yes,

It did feel like the poor thing was screaming when I chewed on it.

It was quite entertaining.

I think I would like one of those for my birthday,

Leo.

Can you tell mummy?

Can you tell mummy that I want a chewy dinosaur for my birthday?

Just like that one.

A grey one just like that one.

And I want it to be dirty and smelly,

Too,

Because I really enjoyed that part of it.

It had got somebody's slobber all over it and it was really tasty.

Leo shivered at the thought of it.

How gross,

He thought to himself.

Leo was not the type of dog to want to chew on somebody else's toy that had been slobbered all over.

Leo was way above that.

Tucker,

Not so much.

While the kids had the dogs out,

They took them for a nice long walk.

And then after a while,

It was time to go home.

Tucker was quite sad on the way back.

He was a little bit quiet,

Not so bouncy.

Tom said,

Are you OK,

Tucker?

And Tucker said,

That girl wasn't very nice,

Was she?

She shouted at me.

I'm still feeling a little bit,

A little bit upset with that.

It wasn't that she said anything really bad or mean.

It was just her energy was really,

Like,

Not very happy with me.

And I felt it totally.

And I felt like I was a bad doggie and I'd done something really bad.

And then she didn't want to listen,

Did she?

She didn't want to listen because we were being very good.

We were being very good shamaritans,

Taking that dinosaur down to Pixel to see if it belonged to Pixel.

And it did belong to Pixel.

And next time I see Pixel,

I'm going to say,

Pixel,

Keep your toys away from my garden.

That's it,

End of story.

Leo said,

Don't worry about it,

Tucker.

I'm sure,

I'm sure Pixel's very happy that he's got his toy back.

And I'm sure if this ever happens again,

That the little girl that lives down the road would not be so mean.

She'd probably be very happy that you're bringing Pixel's toy back.

Leo,

Do not drop any of your toys through the fence.

Because if any of our toys go down there and she brings it back up to us,

Will she be mean again?

Or would she be nice?

Who knows?

I don't want to risk it.

I'm not going to play ball.

I'm not going to play with my bones.

I'm not going to do anything near that part of the fence that belongs near Pixel's house.

I was hoping it belonged to Scotty because Scotty's an easygoing doggy.

But then again,

What's Scotty's parents like?

Scotty's parents might not have been very nice.

They might have been all accusative and looked down at us and said,

Oh,

You naughty doggy.

And then I would have probably peed a little bit because I don't like that.

It would have made me all nervous.

Leo said,

I would have got ives.

Tucker said,

Yeah,

I know,

Right?

And it would have even been our fault.

Anyway,

I need to,

I need to forget about it.

Otherwise,

I'm going to be thinking about it all day.

Leo said,

Just tell yourself you're a good doggy,

Tucker.

No need to worry.

You didn't do anything wrong.

You actually did a really nice thing by taking that dinosaur back.

You could have kept that dinosaur,

But you didn't.

You went looking for its owner.

And that's a really good doggy,

Tucker said.

Yeah,

Exactly.

Exactly.

Lottie and Tom took Tucker and Leo home.

They said their goodbyes because it was time for them to leave.

And Tucker and Leo had a big,

Big drink of water and then settled down on the comfortable dog bed.

Tucker just kind of laid there and stared at the wall,

Thinking about things.

And Leo said,

Stop thinking.

And Tucker said,

OK,

OK,

OK.

And then Tucker decided to have a nap.

When Leo knew that Tucker was OK,

He closed his eyes,

Too,

And had a really long,

Relaxing nap.
