This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about the dogs having fun with their friends. This story is from the Tucker and Leo Club!
These fun stories are created to help children of all ages settle down for a happy nights sleep. Aiding to reduce anxieties, stresses and worries by replacing them with a smile.

Transcript

Are you ready to meditate with Corrie?

Make sure that you're laying down in your bed and you're really,

Really comfortable.

It's time to relax your body and let go of your day.

So,

That means you have to try and be still and quiet.

No running around,

No playing.

It's time to get out all of the wiggles.

If you want to,

You can lay down,

Lay on your back and start to just wiggle your arms up in the air.

Wiggle them all over the place.

Shake out your hands,

Wiggle your fingers,

Spin them around like helicopters.

And then let your hands lay really still and quiet next to your side.

And then you can lift up your legs,

You can kick them,

You can wiggle them,

You can shake them,

You can roll your ankles around so that your feet spin around in the air.

And then you can let them flop on the bed and be still,

Still,

Still,

Still and quiet,

Quiet,

Quiet from now on.

Tucker and Leo were having the bestest time.

Well,

Leo was a little bit nervous,

But Tucker thought it was absolutely amazing.

They were over at Geneva,

Zen and Nevi's house,

Along with Mia,

Their friend.

They were playing spooky hide and seek.

Spooky hide and seek basically consists of getting dressed up in your Halloween outfit,

Their mum,

Ashley,

Putting on some really cool spooky music,

And then basically throwing a dice or throwing a coin on who is going to go first at finding everyone.

And then everyone runs and hides.

It's like normal hide and seek,

But it's more spooky because it's Halloween-y.

Zen had rolled the dice and it was his turn to find everyone.

He was OK with that because he's really good at finding people.

So Nevi,

Geneva,

Mia,

Tucker and Leo went running off to go find hidey places.

Leo was shaking.

He was under the bed.

He was thinking to himself,

I don't think I like this scary music.

He'd got a witch's hat and it was all squished to his head because it couldn't stand up.

The pointy part of the witch's hat couldn't stand up under the bed.

So to get under the bed,

He had to squish his witch's hat.

He was a bit stressed.

He was hoping no one was going to find him.

That way,

Maybe he could take his witch's hat off and just stay under there and hang out for a bit and take some deep breaths and relax his body and just chill out.

It wasn't up until tonight that he discovered that he really didn't like spooky music.

It kind of scared him.

Tucker,

On the other hand,

Had run off and hid in the closet with Mia.

Mia had one of those little over-the-shoulder bags and while they were in there,

She opened it up really quietly.

Tucker said,

Mia,

Be quiet.

They're going to hear you.

They're going to hear you.

And Zenny's so good at finding us.

He's going to find us straight away if you're making silly noises.

Did you notice where Geneva went?

Did you notice where Neville went?

Mia shook her head.

No,

But I'm hungry.

You can't be hungry in the closet,

Mia.

You're going to get us caught.

And anyway,

I don't have any food.

It's all in Miss Ashley's kitchen.

Mia said,

I have some stuff.

She was rummaging around in her bag and it was making so much noise.

Whatever she had in there was so crinkly and noisy.

You're making too much noise.

Tucker kept saying,

We're going to get caught.

We're going to get caught.

Mia pulled out a bag of chips.

Tucker said,

Hmm,

Chips.

Completely forgetting to tell Mia to be quiet anymore.

Tucker was now more interested in the chips.

Oh,

No,

He said.

Oh,

No,

Mia.

Not ranch flavor.

Mia,

Opening the bag of chips,

Instantly invaded the closet with the smell of ranch chips.

I like me some ranch chips.

Mia,

They're my favorite.

And they're so noisy.

How are we supposed to crunch on them quietly,

Mia?

Mia put one of the chips in Tucker's mouth and then followed it by one of the chips in her own mouth.

And then she said,

You just have to bite it really,

Really quietly.

Tucker made the biggest crunchy sound.

Oh,

They're so good,

They're so good,

They're so good.

He was licking his lips and smacking his tongue around his nose,

Which was making a lot of noise also.

Everything about what they were doing was so noisy.

In the distance,

They could hear Zen running from different bedrooms.

He kept shouting out,

I'm coming to find you,

Like a scary witch would do.

That made Leo,

Who was stuck under the bed in a different room,

Shake.

Ooh,

Leo was perspiring.

His underarms were getting all sticky and sweaty,

And he was all stressed.

I'm coming.

I'm coming to find you,

Zen kept saying.

Leo was practically peeing his pants.

He was so scared.

In the meantime,

Tucker was oblivious.

Can I have another one of those ranchy chippies?

Mia gave him another ranch chip.

She just shoved it in his mouth.

He was making such loud noises.

Oh,

They're so delicious.

How are we supposed to stay quiet when we've got ranch chippies in here?

But at least if we have to live in this closet forever and ever and ever,

Then,

Then we won't starve.

Just then,

Somebody started to open the closet door.

Tucker and Mia froze.

And then Geneva and Nevi jumped inside the closet and got down on the floor with them.

Shh,

Said Nevi.

You've got to be quiet.

Zen's really good at this.

How did you know we were in here,

Nevi?

Said Tucker.

Nevi said.

You're so noisy.

We heard you from the other room.

We're gonna get caught.

I couldn't help myself.

Mia's got ranch chips.

Geneva said.

Oh,

We like ranch chips.

Can we have one?

Talking about her and her sister,

Nevi,

They both nodded.

And Mia just handed him a chip.

So now there was four,

Four crunchy mouths around ranch chips trying to be quiet.

Geneva got the giggles.

She started laughing.

It is really noisy in here.

I don't know how he's not found us yet.

And then she was giggling and giggling and giggling.

And then Nevi decided that she needed to go for a pee.

Nevi,

You can't.

Not in the closet,

Said Tucker.

But then again,

If it's our life depends on it,

Nevi,

Then we could probably pee in the closet and mummy would be OK with it.

Geneva said.

Tucker,

That's gross.

No,

She wouldn't.

OK,

OK,

OK,

Said Tucker.

I wonder where Leo is.

I bet he's all alone somewhere in the house.

Just then there was a squeaky noise again,

As if somebody was opening the closet.

This time they all went really,

Really still,

Still and quiet like statues.

Geneva was halfway through chewing another chip.

She had to just pause on it as if she was completely frozen.

And then Leo scampered into the closet,

Got down on the floor in the middle of them all.

His witch hat all bent over.

Oh,

It was so scary out there on my own,

Leo said.

Tucker said,

Leo,

Leo,

How did you find me?

Leo said,

I heard you from the other room.

You're all chewing on something.

Everyone started laughing once again,

But still quietly laughing.

They couldn't be loud,

Remember,

Because Zen was going to find him.

I'm coming to find you,

Zen shouted from far away.

It sounded as if he was in the kitchen or something.

And then the music changed.

It was an even spookier song.

Leo said,

What was that?

Tucker said,

It's the song,

Leo.

Don't you worry.

It's the song.

It's not some real ghosts.

Geneva said,

It could have been a real ghost,

Because real ghosts like ranch chips,

Too.

Nevi,

Her little sister,

Her eyes got super big.

Talking about real ghosts.

And then Geneva started laughing and said she was only joking.

She didn't know whether real ghosts like ranch chips,

But everybody in the closet did.

Leo said,

Oh,

I haven't had a ranch chip yet.

Mia put a ranch chip in Leo's mouth.

And for just a couple of seconds,

Leo forgot about all his worries and all of his stresses.

Oh,

That's nice,

He said.

I don't think I've had one of them before.

Tucker said,

You've never had a ranch chippy before.

What is wrong with you,

Leo?

You must have had a ranch chippy before.

I've had ranch chippies.

You must have had ranch chippies.

There's no way that I would have had a ranch chippy unless you'd have had a ranch chippy.

We would have had a ranch chippies together because you were brothers,

Leo.

If mommy bought ranch chippies,

We would have eaten them together.

She wanted to just give me one without you one.

I don't know where I would have got a ranch chippy from.

Leo said,

Maybe you were visiting some friends or something without me.

Tucker said,

No,

No,

No,

No,

No.

There's no way I would be eating ranch chippies without you,

Leo.

Geneva said,

Shh,

We're still supposed to be quiet.

I'm coming to get you.

This time,

Zen was so close.

He was definitely in the same bedroom.

They all froze.

Leo was shaking.

That's when Leo looked around at everyone and noticed that he was the only one wearing a hat.

He was the only one wearing his outfit still.

Everyone else had somehow took their outfits off.

Leo said,

How come you're all wearing your normal clothes again?

Tucker said,

Well,

We've been in this closet for so long now.

I'm surprised that Zen's not found us.

What's wrong with Zen?

He's off his game.

Geneva said,

Maybe he's not even looking for us.

Maybe he's just pretending.

He can't be this bad.

Neve said,

I wonder if he's eating chips in the kitchen.

Tucker said,

There's ranch chips in the kitchen?

Mia said,

Yeah,

Where do you think I got mine from?

What are we doing in this closet waiting for Zen?

Why don't we just happen to fall out of it and get caught and go get some chips?

Everyone decided that that would be a really good idea,

Just as Zen was squeaking open the closet door.

They all fell on him.

Zen was laid on the floor,

While the kids and the dogs piled all over him.

Tucker was trying to get up so fast that he was scrambling over bodies.

Come on,

Let's go get the chips,

Said Tucker.

When they all got to the kitchen,

They all had snacks and drinks,

Particularly ranch chips.

They sat around laughing about how funny Leo's hat was.

It was all bent over and crooked.

And how the fact that Zen didn't find them.

Zen said he knew exactly where they were the whole time.

He was just giving them some space because he was so good that,

You know,

What can you say?

He knew where they were.

Neve said,

No,

You did not.

Zen said,

Yeah,

I did.

Neve said,

No,

Don't believe you.

You're not that good.

Zen said,

Yeah,

Yeah,

I am.

They ate so many chips.

And Leo decided that he was a fan of Halloween music now that they were all sat around the kitchen table.

When they were hiding on their own in spooky places,

It was too scary.

But now that they're all together and they're just hanging out as friends and having fun and talking and chatting and just playing,

Then yeah,

Spooky music is not so bad.

After a while,

It was time for Mia and Tucker and Leo to go home.

They gave everyone big hugs and kisses and licks.

Tucker made sure to lick Neve,

Zen and Geneva's faces because they were covered in ranch chips.

They were delicious.

And then they said goodbye to Mia.

Tucker tried to lick Mia all over the face,

But she pushed him away.

And then the dogs went home.

When they got home,

They got onto the big dog bed.

They flopped down on the big,

Soft,

Comfortable pillow that was their bed,

Snuggled in together.

And then Leo fell fast asleep first.

And when Leo was asleep,

Tucker managed to lick all of the ranch dressing stuff off his face.
