Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Make sure that you're all comfortable and snug as a bug in your bed.

That the light is just right in your room so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy,

Busy day.

Tucker and Leo were having a really fun day.

They'd gone to the pumpkin patch with Jezebel,

Lottie and Tom,

Bo and Maya.

They wanted to pick a pumpkin,

A specific perfect pumpkin,

To make pumpkin pie with.

That was their plan.

Instead of buying a pumpkin from the store,

They wanted to go and have the whole pumpkin patch experience.

Pick out the perfect pumpkin,

Maybe do a hayride,

Maybe do the corn maze,

You know,

All the fun things that you can do when you go to a pumpkin patch.

Maybe there'd be some animals there.

Maybe pigs,

Or goats,

Or chickens.

Tucker was very excited.

Oh,

I just can't wait,

Leo.

I can't wait.

My favouritest thing in the entire world about pumpkin patches is smelling all the different pumpkins because you wouldn't think it,

Would you?

You wouldn't think it or believe it,

But pumpkins,

Some of them smell very different than others.

And some of them smell like,

Well,

Pumpkins.

And then some of them smell like pumpkins mixed with toes.

And some of them,

Some of them,

Leo said,

Toes.

Tucker said,

Yes,

Toes.

And then some of them,

Some of them smell like pumpkin mixed with rhubarb,

Leo said.

Rhubarb?

Tucker said,

Yes,

Rhubarb.

Yes,

Leo,

Rhubarb.

So some pumpkins smell like pumpkins.

Some pumpkins smell like pumpkins slash toes.

And some pumpkins smell like pumpkins slash rhubarb.

And I like to guess which one's going to smell like which.

Some pumpkins,

You know,

Some pumpkins smell like rotten pumpkins.

And they are quite nice to smell sometimes,

But not all the time,

Because sometimes,

But it's kind of like,

Rotten pumpkin smell,

Right,

Is one of those things that smells like dirty laundry.

Leo frowned at the thought of it.

You know,

When you forget to take,

Your mummy forgets to take her clothes out of the washing machine and then they go all funny smelling because she left them in there and they went wet and weird smelling.

Oh,

I like that smell.

Sometimes some rotten pumpkins smell just like that,

Leo.

Leo looked over at Jezebel and said,

Is it just me or is Tucker really gross?

Jezebel started laughing.

At this point,

They were just walking around the pumpkin patch.

They were in the area where all the pumpkins are.

Lottie and Tom,

Her brother,

Were running around all over the place,

Trying to find a pumpkin that had warts on it.

You know,

One of those that has like the little lumps all over it because they think that that looks like a warty witch pumpkin,

Which is really cool.

Doesn't really matter because they were going to cut the pumpkin up and bake it and then make the pumpkin into pie.

But still,

They wanted a warty pumpkin.

Bo was right there with Maya and together they were trying to find a medium,

Perfect looking pumpkin.

You know,

One of those pumpkins that look like it's right off a painting,

Like it's the most perfect pumpkin ever.

Just the right orange,

Just the right size,

All nice and smooth and shiny.

One of those type of pumpkins.

Cooker kept sticking his head in those pictures that they have there at the pumpkin patch sometimes where you can stick your head in a hole and then people take a picture and you have a funny outfit or you're dressed like a scarecrow or something.

He was sticking his head in those and sticking his tongue out at Leo and Leo was pretending to take a picture of him.

They decided after they picked the perfect pumpkin,

Which was one that Maya found,

That they were going to go through the corn maze.

The corn maze is like this big,

Giant puzzle that you walk through and you have to go down different walkways to find your way out.

And if your walkway is a dead end,

You kind of have to go backwards and go over and around and through.

The corn maze was really,

Really tall.

Cooker said,

I think I'm a little bit scared about this.

You know sometimes,

Right,

When you see those horrible,

Scary movies,

Corn mazes,

They always have like nasty things in them,

Don't they?

Like monsters and things.

Leo said,

That's it,

I'm not going.

Cooker said,

Oh no,

Leo,

You have to come with me because I'm a bit scared.

Leo said,

Um,

No,

I think,

I think I'll pass.

Jezebel said that she would pass too.

She was going to hang out with Leo and they were just going to kind of sit and people watch for a while.

There was loads of kids and families and different people there,

So it would be fun,

Just people watching.

There was lots of benches all around,

So they just chose a bench and Leo and Jezebel stayed right there.

Lottie,

Tom,

Bo,

Maya and Tucker all went in the corn maze.

Tucker,

Only about two minutes in,

Saw something move.

Even though it was really busy,

The part of the corn maze where they were at was dead quiet.

No one was there.

It was almost a little bit,

Well,

Maybe a lot spooky because it felt like everyone in the entire world had disappeared and it was only those four,

Including Tucker,

That were in the corn maze.

Maya stayed right next to Tucker.

Bo said,

This is a bit spooky.

Tom said,

Oh,

Don't be silly,

We're fine and he started running ahead,

But then as soon as Tucker announced that he kept seeing things moving in the corn,

Tom changed his mind and quickly came back to the group.

Tom said,

What are you seeing?

Tucker said,

I don't know,

It's tiny though,

It's not big,

It's something very tiny,

Like it's tiny,

Like,

Like,

Like,

There it is,

He said.

Everybody jumped a mile because he scared everyone to death when he said it.

Lottie started laughing,

She was holding her heart.

Oh,

Tucker,

Please don't do that.

Tucker,

Being Tucker,

Just looked at them all and went,

I said it again,

Scared everyone again.

Everyone was like standing still,

Watching where Tucker was pointing with one of his paws and then they all saw it,

This little thing fluttered through the corn.

It looked like a bird or something,

But really tiny.

And there's another one,

Said Tom,

Pointing over onto another piece of the corn maze.

Bo said,

There's one up there,

Maya said,

They look like fairies.

And then all the little fairies that were in the corn maze,

That were hiding in the corn,

Fluttered out in front of them.

One of the fairies said,

Hi,

Tucker went,

Oh,

My golly gosh,

What on earth are you?

Scaring everyone once again,

And some of the fairies flew back into the corn and hid.

Maya said,

Don't be frightened,

That's just our friend Tucker,

He's a bit goofy,

You know.

Tucker said,

Excuse me,

I think I'd be able to be defended if I wasn't so enthralled with these little beautiful things in front of us,

Look at them,

They're so beautiful,

They're like little perfect flying little,

What are they?

Maya said,

The fairies.

Tucker said,

Fairies,

Ooh,

Lovely,

I wonder what fairies taste like?

Maya smacked Tucker in the middle of the head and said,

Tucker,

Tucker said,

I'm only kidding,

There's no need to smack my favourite tickle spot.

He was rubbing the middle of his head right between his ears,

The part that likes to be scratched.

Maya said,

Oh,

Well,

Hi,

Everyone,

What are you guys doing here?

All the fairies decided to be brave and fly back out in front of Lottie and Tom and Bo and Maya and Tucker.

One of the fairies said,

We're always in the corn mazes,

But no one ever sees us.

You guys are the first ones to ever spot us before.

Tucker said,

Oh,

I'm very honoured and feel very,

Very blessed.

You know,

It wasn't these guys because these guys couldn't see anything.

It was me,

I'm the one that's special.

Tom said,

Yeah,

You're special,

Tucker.

And Tucker said,

Well,

Are you being sarcastic?

And Tom said,

No,

Tucker,

You are special,

Though.

And Tucker said,

I know I'm special.

I'm very special because I found those fairies.

Hello,

Fairies.

So what do you do in the corn maze then?

Do you just like live in the corn maze or do you just like come to the corn maze for Halloween celebrations?

Or do you like to just come to the corn maze just because you like corn?

One of the little fairies that was wearing all pink said that they all like to go to the corn maze and hide in the corn because they like to watch the children,

Because children have very magical powers.

Their energy makes them feel alive and it helps them to fly,

Especially the happy children that are running around with a happy mood and a happy energy and smiley faces.

They recharge our batteries,

Said the fairy.

You have batteries?

You have batteries?

One of the other fairies said,

Well,

No,

Not literally.

She just means they make us feel all like energised just because they're happy.

Lottie said,

So you guys get energised off us being happy?

The fairy said,

Yes,

And especially if you laugh or if you're really,

Really giggling.

Giggles are the best.

Tucker started to tickle Maya and she giggled and giggled and giggled and the fairies all got brighter.

As if a little light inside of their hearts shone brighter every time she giggled.

Oh,

My golly,

He said.

That's absolutely brilliant.

I wish my heart did that when these guys giggle.

Sometimes I get very happy when they giggle.

It is nice,

But I don't light up like that.

That's a very special gift.

All the fairies beamed because they were happy,

But Tucker thought they looked beautiful when the lights got really bright.

Pumpkin patches are the best place to come,

Especially this time of year,

One of the fairies said.

Maya said,

I've always wanted to be a fairy.

One of the fairies said,

Well,

Do me a favour,

Close your eyes and listen to everyone giggling.

Everyone decided that they wanted to be a fairy,

Too,

So they all closed their eyes,

Including Tucker.

They heard all the kids laughing over at the other areas on the pumpkin patch.

One kid screamed and started crying.

And Tucker said,

Oh,

I don't like that feeling.

And the fairy that was next to Tucker said,

Yes,

I know that feels sad,

Doesn't it?

When we feel sad like this,

That doesn't make us light up.

It just makes us feel sad.

Then we want to make the child happy.

But most of the time we have to stay very,

Very invisible.

Only certain children can see us,

You see.

And doggies,

Said Tucker.

And the fairy said,

Yes,

Yes,

And certain doggies.

Tucker closed his eyes again and listened.

Maybe you should all giggle,

One of the fairies suggested.

Tucker started giggling,

Which made everyone else laugh,

Really,

Because Tucker's giggle,

It was a fake giggle,

Was very funny.

And then he started laughing because everyone else was laughing at him and his laugh was now real and everyone started laughing.

And all of a sudden,

One of the fairies said,

Open your eyes.

And they all opened their eyes and they were all tiny little fairies.

They all looked around at each other.

Tom was flying around going,

I can't believe this.

This is the best.

Tucker,

As a fairy,

Looked so funny that everyone kept laughing over and over and over again.

One of the fairies said,

The more you laugh,

The more you'll stay like this.

And so they all kept laughing and then Tucker said,

Let's play hide and seek.

I bet it's really fun playing hide and seek when you're this small,

We'll never find each other.

Started laughing again.

Tom and Lottie flew and hid inside of the corn.

Bo and Maya went looking for them.

Tucker decided to stay with the other fairies.

Would you like to play hide and seek,

Fairies?

One of the fairies said,

Well,

We can't play that all the time because we're always hiding.

Oh,

Yes,

I see.

OK,

Then,

Well,

I'm going to go and find Tom and Lottie and I'm going to go and find Maya and Bo and I'm going to go find them.

And it might take me a very long time because I can't see them at all because they're so disguised in the corn.

Wow,

I see now why you like corn so much,

Guys.

I see why you hide in the corn.

It's a perfect place to play hide and seek.

Tucker flew off trying to find the kids hiding in the corn,

In the corn maze.

In the meantime,

Some other kids that weren't with their group walked by and the fairies had to go hide very quickly.

The kids were laughing and happy,

And because we know that they light up and glow when that happens.

There were all these tiny little lights inside of the corn maze glowing really brightly that no one seemed to notice.

After a while of Tucker trying to find the kids,

He finally found them.

And then they found the other fairies again,

And then they said that they had to go home.

And one of the fairies said,

Well,

Just stop laughing.

They stopped laughing.

And they fell back into the normal bodies.

Tucker said,

Leo is never going to believe this in a million years.

When they found Leo and Jezebel on a bench just outside of the corn maze,

They told them all about it.

Leo and Jezebel looked at each other as if they were all a bit crazy.

But it didn't matter.

And then,

Because they knew.

Every time they looked at the corn maze,

You could see these tiny little lights glowing.

There must have been hundreds and hundreds of fairies in there all hiding.

Playing hide and seek and never being found.

Except for today,

Because Tucker is a very special dog.
