My name is Cori.
Let's meditate together.
If you can close down your eyes for me please.
Straighten your spine if you're sat down.
Make sure that your spine is super straight just so that we can bring in any knowledge,
Wisdom,
Love,
Anything that wants to come from the divine during the meditation.
It has a nice clear channel to flow through.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Come into a place of stillness and just breathe.
Start by taking in long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
See if on the next exhale you can make it even longer.
Like you're riding on a really cool wave,
Surfing.
Making it last as long as you can until you're completely empty and pause if you can for a few seconds on that complete stillness.
In the pause and then breathe in a nice,
Big,
Deep breath again in through your nose,
Out through your nose.
Find a pace with your breath that feels good for you.
See if you can soften your abdomen.
Just take a couple of breaths into your tummy and feel it and if it feels tight at all,
Let your tummy completely relax.
Let it expand and get big.
The aim is to keep your spine nice and straight but relax everything around it.
Soften everything around your spine.
Once you feel like you've got that,
Move your attention out to your forehead,
Your third eye area and just feel your face first of all.
Feel the surrounding.
Relax your cheeks.
Soften your jaw.
See if you can let your eyebrows get heavy.
And as your eyebrows get heavy,
You'll get a sense of relaxation across your shoulders.
I mean,
Sorry,
Across your forehead and around your eyes.
Let all of the tension just melt away on your face.
Taking long,
Slow,
Peaceful breaths.
I'd like you to ask yourself,
What is one truth that I have that I've been avoiding?
One truth that I have that I avoid or soften?
Allow your mind to just start to open.
Don't force anything to you.
Just let something come.
The truth of yours.
Maybe you've been running from it or hiding from it or dodging it.
And if it comes,
Stay neutral.
Don't put any weight on it.
Don't try and dissect it.
Don't try and think about where it comes from,
Where it started,
The root of it.
No,
Just let something flow nice and simple,
Nice and easy.
A truth that I've been avoiding.
And once you have it,
Just kind of hold it there as if you're putting a light on it.
You're turning on the light to the side of the bed and you're turning a soft,
Glowing light over it so that you can see it.
That's all.
You are letting yourself see it.
Keep it there in front of you and move your attention down into the center of your chest.
As you breathe in,
Feel your chest open,
Expand.
Feel your ribs lift slightly.
Tiny little movements in your body.
Be aware of them.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the soften,
The drop.
Feel as your chest pulls back towards your spine.
Take some breaths and just observe the in and the out motion of your chest.
And then feel into your heart space,
Your physical heart on the left side of your chest.
Feel that,
But also feel the center of your chest,
The cavern there that holds your heart chakra.
Breathe into this space and just start to pull your truth that you've been avoiding into your heart center as if you're placing it there and looking at it from your heart's perspective and ask yourself,
Can I let this be here exactly as it is?
This truth of mine.
Pull it into your heart space and sit with it exactly as it is.
Notice what comes up for you.
Might be something really subtle.
Your throat might tighten.
Your chest might get sad and heavy.
Just sit with it.
Sit with whatever is happening in your mind,
Your body.
Your body might close down and run away.
Notice you.
There's no right or wrong.
Don't change your reaction.
Just keep saying to yourself,
Can I let this be here exactly as it is?
Breathe with it there.
What does it feel like there?
Maybe it hurts and it's uncomfortable.
Just be with it.
Try really hard not to push it away.
Know that we have each other right now and you're not alone.
You're safe.
You're with me.
Just try and be vulnerable without changing anything.
And then let that be and move your attention to your throat for me.
Feel your throat.
The in sound,
The out sound.
Be aware of that space and ask yourself,
What would it feel like to express it?
What would it feel like to express my truth?
This truth?
What if I said it?
What if I said it right now in a whisper?
What does it feel like?
What comes up?
You don't have to actually say to a person.
You don't have to put yourself in a real situation.
What if you just said one word of it to yourself?
You let it out.
You let it free.
You're being real.
You're being brave and vulnerable.
You're letting yourself be on the edge and be honest.
Relax your shoulders.
Notice if your body's tightening up.
If you can help it to just soften and relax again.
What's your truth?
Say it.
Say it again and again.
Practice.
Release it.
Take a big,
Deep breath.
Breathe out.
Exhale through your mouth.
What's it feel like to let it out?
It might be super scary.
It might feel really horrible and uncomfortable.
It might actually feel delicious and good.
It might be free,
Freeing.
Let it feel however it wants to feel for you.
There's no right or wrong.
Now,
Let that all go.
Let it all go.
Imagine a light outside of yourself.
A bright light.
A bright light that has three cords,
Three strings of light.
One that goes to your third eye,
One that goes to your heart,
And one that goes to your throat.
The place where you see it,
You feel it,
And you speak it.
And these three solid cords of light connect.
These three actions for you.
You see it,
You feel it,
You speak it.
Just let yourself sit and imagine that this is the way that you communicate from now on.
With this light shining on this action,
And the more you do it,
The more you practice,
The more you feel comfortable.
Imagine yourself in the future very easily seeing it for what it is,
The truth of it.
And then feeling it and not trying to change it or judge it or change its shape,
Its form.
Just letting yourself be with the realness of it,
Whatever it feels like.
And then,
Finally,
You speak it.
And the more you practice,
The more you notice that you feel good and comfortable when you speak it.
And the more you love yourself and the more you let yourself be you,
The more that your heart,
The way you feel it,
Comes from a place of kindness and love and compassion versus defensiveness.
And over time,
This becomes your natural flow of expression.
You see the truth of it without ego.
You feel it in your heart.
And then you speak it out loud eventually.
And you see it all in light.
And that light represents the love and the support from the universe,
From that which you think is greater,
Whether that's your deity,
Your guide,
Your angel,
Your higher self,
Your loved one,
Whether that's God.
Know that you're shrined in this light at all times.
As you see it,
You feel it,
And you speak it.
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath and let it out.
Let your shoulders drop.
Slowly open your eyes.
Let's do a nice,
Big,
Deep breath together.
Breathe in through your nose and a nice,
Big,
Deep breath.
Fill to capacity breath.
Hold it and then breathe out.
And so it is.
Namaste,
My friends.
