Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
Make sure that you're laying down,
You're comfortable and quiet.
You can close your eyes if you want to,
Or you can leave them open.
Take a nice big deep breath in all the way down to your tummy.
And then breathe each out.
Let go of your day.
This is your time to relax.
Amelia and Ella were two sisters.
They both just got out of the shower.
They were getting ready for bed.
They were wearing their new bathrobes for the first time.
Ella's was pink and Amelia's was light blue.
They were so soft and fluffy and snuggly.
They both hopped up into bed.
And Amelia said to Ella,
I have a funny feeling in my tummy.
Ella said,
Me too.
It feels like tickly butterflies.
Amelia said,
Me too.
I was just thinking the same thing.
Ella said,
I wonder if it's our new bathrobes that's making us feel like this.
Amelia said,
Maybe.
It feels nice.
Then all of a sudden the girls started to get tingly feet like they had butterflies tickling their feet.
Tingly fingers like they had butterflies landing on their hands and tickling their fingers.
They had a tingly nose like they were both there with a butterfly tickling and tingling their nose.
Amelia liked butterflies.
She said this feels so nice.
Ella said,
It's like something magical is happening.
Just as she finished saying that,
The girls started to float up off their beds.
At first they both looked at each other a little bit frightened.
But then they had this overwhelming feeling that they were completely safe.
Nothing bad was going to happen.
Somehow their new fluffy,
Soft,
Comfortable,
Yummy bathrobes were making them float.
They flew up off their beds,
Across their bedroom and out into the night sky through their bedroom window.
They held on to each other's hands.
They started to fly higher up over the trees,
Up over the houses and the cars and the roads down below.
Up towards the stars in the sky.
They were going higher and higher.
All of a sudden Amelia said,
That looks just like Maisie.
Ella said,
I think it is Maisie.
What's she doing here?
Maisie was the dog.
Amelia said,
And there's moonlight and midnight.
They're goats.
Then Ella spotted Cray-Cray the hamster.
Kit-Kat the cat.
The chickens were there,
The ducks were there,
Even the fishes were there.
They were all flying up towards the sky,
Up higher towards the stars.
Ella said,
What are all you doing here?
All the animals replied in different times and different voices.
Maisie,
Their dog,
Said,
We're going to the happy house.
Is that where you are going?
Amelia and Ella looked at each other.
They'd never heard of the happy house.
Ella said,
What's the happy house?
All of the animals,
Even the fishes,
Said,
Follow us.
We'll show you where the happy house is.
We go there every night.
You guys think we're all asleep.
We're not sleeping.
We're going out there,
Flying to the happy house.
Amelia and Ella were intrigued.
They flew alongside of all of their animals.
Maisie,
Moonlight,
Midnight,
Cray-Cray,
Kit-Kat,
The chickens,
The ducks,
The fishes.
Everyone was there,
Flying through the sky.
It was so quiet and peaceful down below because everyone was sleeping in their beds.
It was like they were on a secret mission that no one knew about.
Except all their animals,
Of course.
They flew through the sky very gracefully.
It was like somehow they just knew exactly what to do.
It was relaxing and calming and they felt so free and light.
They flew for quite a long time.
Then they noticed bunches of other animals flying from all different directions.
All heading to one big,
Big,
Giant house down below.
Kit-Kat and Cray-Cray and all the other animals started heading down towards the house.
It looked like the animals were flying through the windows,
Through the roof,
Through the doors.
As if by magic you could just fly through any part of the house.
Like the walls were transparent but you could see them,
But you could magically fly through them or something.
When they got into the house,
There must have been hundreds of different animals.
There were pigs,
There were butterflies,
There were dogs,
There were cats.
Ella was very happy when she spotted a cheetah and she loved horses and there were so many horses.
There were hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of butterflies,
All different colors,
All different sizes.
This made Amelia very,
Very happy.
She loved butterflies.
The girls said to Midnight and Moonlight,
The goats,
What do you guys do here?
Midnight,
The female goat said,
We come here because when we're here,
Anything you wish,
Anything you want,
Anything you desire comes true.
Watch.
She closed her eyes,
Wiggled her nose and said out loud,
I desire a big giant pizza.
Plop,
There was a pizza right there in her front hooves.
See,
She said,
Anything you want,
Anything you wish for,
Anything you desire.
Think about it.
What would you like?
The girls looked at each other.
Ella said,
Chocolate ice cream.
A cone with chocolate ice cream and chocolate sprinkles all over it landed right there in front of her,
Just hovering in front of her face.
She reached out and grabbed a hold of it,
Gave it a lick,
Looked at her sister and said,
It's the yummiest chocolate ice cream I've ever had.
Amelia said,
Hmm,
I wish for strawberry shortcake.
And then just like that,
The yummiest,
Gooeyest,
Most delicious looking strawberry shortcake hovered there in front of her face,
Waiting for her to just take a hold of it.
Moonlight,
The male goat said,
That's why this place is called a happy house.
We're all so happy when we come here.
Anything that we wish for that makes us happy just magically appears.
Look around.
Look at everyone.
Everyone's so happy.
He was right.
All the animals were smiling.
The horses were neighing.
The cheetahs were making cheetah noises.
The pigs were honking.
The cows were mooing.
Everybody was doing their thing,
Having the bestest time there in the happy house.
Kit-Kit,
The cat said,
That's why we come every night.
It's so much fun.
The girls said,
We don't blame you.
This is the happiest house we've ever been to.
Cray-Cray,
The hamster said,
The other nice thing about this house is that if you've got something going on or you don't feel very well or you've got an upset tummy or you're a bit nervous about something or like you just,
You know,
Whatever,
Whatever you've got going on.
Like sometimes I just scratch and scratch and scratch and I don't know why I'm scratching.
When I come here,
I don't do it anymore.
I don't scratch.
It's like your ailments just disappear.
That's another reason that we come because we all get really healthy here and we all feel really emotionally balanced and stable and very,
Very happy inside.
And you know how it happens.
Amelia looked at Cray-Cray and said,
No.
Cray-Cray said,
Well,
You just think you just close your eyes.
Just close your eyes,
Amelia,
And think about something that you'd like to change.
Amelia closed her eyes.
Sometimes she did get a little bit anxious about things and worried about things.
She'd like that to go away.
It was like the house knew all of a sudden.
All of those beautiful butterflies.
All the different colors and sizes.
Started to fly and hover around Amelia.
And then very,
Very,
Very gently,
One by one,
They landed on her.
She felt them tickling her nose,
Tickling her eyebrows,
Her forehead,
Her ears.
They tickled her shoulders,
Her hands,
Her arms.
Everywhere they landed,
It was like the gentlest butterfly hugs that anyone could ever,
Ever have.
She could feel all of her worries disappearing.
All of her anxiety just melting away.
Like the butterflies were magically taking it every time they touched her and hugged her with their little butterfly hugs.
So soft and gentle.
When she opened her eyes,
All the butterflies would magically just flew back to where they were in the house as if it never even happened.
Wow,
She said.
See?
Said Cray-Cray.
I told you,
It's awesome.
The girls stayed at the house and played around and wished for different things for quite some time.
They wished for the tastiest,
Tastiest,
Juiciest,
Crispiest apples.
They got them.
They wished for the best,
Sweetest,
Freshest lemonade.
They got it.
They wished for the comfiest socks.
They both were wearing the comfiest socks.
It was like magic.
And then one by one,
All of the hundreds of different animals started to fly out of the windows,
Through the doors,
Through the walls.
When you watch them,
You could see them all flying up back into the sky.
Maisie,
Moonlight,
Midnight,
Cray-Cray,
Kit-Kit,
Chickens,
The Ducks,
The Fishers,
Everyone started to fly.
Come on,
Girls,
Said one of the chickens.
And the girls floated up and started to fly through a window.
It looked like it was going to be morning very soon.
They took their times flying home,
Enjoying a light and weightless and relaxed they both felt.
They'd not been this happy in the longest time.
They couldn't wait to go back to the happy house.
They wondered about if they should tell their parents.
Maybe they should.
Maybe their parents would love to go to the happy house.
When they got home,
The sun had not quite risen.
They laid on their beds,
Closed their eyes,
And went fast asleep very,
Very quickly.
Snuggling up in their comfy,
New,
Soft,
Fluffy,
Yummy,
Magical bathrobes.
Thank you for watching.
