Heidi Cherry & Vaya - Mean Cousin

This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about Devi's mean cousin. The cats learn what it can be like sometimes when kids are mean and they take friends away from friends, causing someone to feel left out or hurt.
These fun stories are created to help children of all ages settle down for a happy night's sleep. Aiding to reduce anxieties, stresses and worries by replacing them with a smile.

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Get all snuggly and comfortable in your bed.

Let your body relax so that you can let go of your busy day and eventually,

Hopefully,

Fall to sleep.

Heidi,

Cherry and Vair were playing with the kids and other cats and dogs at the park.

They were meeting Devi.

Devi had got two of her cousins in town.

Devi was one of the cats' closest friends.

They all got along with her really well.

She was a nice girl.

They'd not met the cousins yet.

One of them was called Sam and the other one was called Lindy.

They all came to the park and they were playing really nice for quite some time until Lindy,

One of the cousins,

Decided that she didn't want to play with Cherry.

Lindy said to Sam and Devi,

I say we go play on the swings.

There's three swings.

Let's go play on the swings.

Devi said,

I just told Cherry and Vair and Heidi that I was going to go on the roundabout with them.

No,

Said Lindy.

Well,

It's up to you.

You can do that if you want to,

But me and Sam's going to go play on the swings and I think you should come with us because we haven't seen you for a long time,

Devi,

And it wouldn't be very fair if you don't come play with us.

You see the cats all the time and we've decided that we just don't like Cherry.

Cherry thinks she knows it all.

Cherry walked over to Devi,

Sam and Lindy.

Just as Lindy was saying Cherry thinks she knows it all.

Cherry said,

Excuse me?

Are you talking about me?

I know we've only just met and everything,

But you know,

Were you joking?

Or were you being serious?

Because you know,

There's so many things I don't know.

Isn't there,

Devi?

There's so many things I don't know.

I mean,

Is that what you were saying?

Were you saying that about me?

Or were you just talking about someone else called Cherry?

Heidi walked over and so did Vair.

Everyone listened to see what Devi,

Lindy and Sam would say.

Lindy said,

Actually,

Yeah,

Cherry,

We were talking about you because we're going to go play on the swings over here.

And to be honest with you,

All you ever do is talk,

Talk,

Talk.

And we don't think it's very fair because we have a lot of catching up to do.

So yeah,

We're going to play over here.

Heidi stayed quiet and just listened.

Vair reached out her paw to grab hold of Cherry's paw as if she was holding onto her hand.

Vair knew Cherry was going to be upset.

Cherry just kind of stood there with her mouth open and didn't say anything for once.

She was really hurt.

Vair said,

Oh,

Um,

Cherry,

Cherry,

Don't take it personal.

It's so some people are just a little bit mean,

You know,

Don't take it so personal.

We love you and you don't always talk too much.

And these people have only just met you and what do they know?

Right?

Right,

Heidi?

Heidi said,

Vair's right,

Cherry.

Come on,

Let's go over here and play on the roundabout.

Cherry slumped down her shoulders and put her head down as if she was staring at the ground.

Heidi put her arm around Cherry and gave her a big hug.

Cherry started to cry and then she sniffled really hard and fast.

I don't want to cry in front of everybody.

I want to go home.

Cherry said.

Heidi went over to the girls and told Debbie that they'd see her again sometime that they were going home.

Debbie felt terrible,

But she was torn because her cousins were in town.

They didn't like Cherry.

They said that they wanted to talk to her and Cherry was talking too much.

What could she do?

She felt really bad because she thought I should have said something.

I should have stuck up for my friend.

Cherry,

Heidi and Vair all walked home.

It wasn't too far away from the park.

Thank goodness.

The walk home was pretty quiet except for Cherry's sniffles here and there.

By the time they were walking up the path towards the house,

Heidi said,

Come on,

Cherry,

Everything will be okay.

Don't take it personal.

Cherry slumped down on the back step near the door and said,

How can I not take it personal?

How can I not take it personal?

I'm so upset.

Why did they not like me?

What did I do wrong?

I was being really nice and funny and stuff.

I don't get why they didn't like me.

Cherry could barely talk.

She was so upset.

Poor Cherry.

Vair said,

You know,

Cherry,

You can't please everyone all the time and not everyone is always going to like you.

Some people don't like me.

Some people just don't like princesses.

And I'm okay with that because if they don't like princesses,

We probably won't have that much in common.

Heidi said,

That's right.

You know,

Not everyone likes a bookworm.

Not everyone likes a smarty pants like me,

Cherry.

Luckily,

The world is full with different people and different animals and different friends.

Cherry said,

I know,

But I'm so upset.

I feel really bad about myself.

Why would they be so mean like that?

They're being so mean.

Cherry was right.

They were mean.

They were rude.

They were mean.

And they weren't very nice girls.

There's lots of different ways that they could have handled it if they didn't like Cherry.

Maybe they could have played for a little bit and then made excuses and gone home with Debbie.

Gone to do something different with Debbie.

They didn't have to be mean like that.

Heidi gave Cherry another hug and Veya leaned in for the snuggle as well.

And they just sat there for a while and let Cherry have a cry.

After a while,

She blew her nose and looked at them both and said,

You know what?

OMG,

Right?

You know what?

You're right because I'm awesome.

I'm funny.

I'm kind.

I'm so so funny.

I'm so good at everything.

And I'm awesome me.

So they can just go away,

Right?

They can just go away.

Who cares?

She was still upset.

She was pretending not to care.

But really she did.

Who wants to hear that someone doesn't like you?

Or if someone tells you that you talk too much and you know it all.

That's awful.

The cats went inside and Heidi made a cup of tea and they had a cookie at the table in the kitchen.

The cookie was white chocolate chip.

It made Cherry feel a little bit better.

Not that the cookie would take the problem away,

But still it was a really good cookie.

And then Heidi suggested that they put on a funny movie and they all sit in the living room and eat popcorn after dinner.

They got the pajamas on and they made it so it was like a slumber party.

They painted each other's claws bright pink and they all matched.

They put face masks on.

They laughed a lot at the movie and ate lots and lots of popcorn.

And by bedtime Cherry felt much better.

She wasn't taking it personal anymore.

She realised that if Lindy and Sam didn't like her then that was on them.

They were missing out.

Didn't mean anything was wrong with Cherry.

It just means they didn't like Cherry and that's okay.

Cherry really did feel okay with it by now.

They went upstairs and brushed their teeth.

Hopped into the big,

Soft,

Comfortable bed.

They made up funny stories about mean girls just to make each other laugh.

And then they got really,

Really comfortable.

Closed their eyes and eventually fell fast asleep.

A fanfic shipping me and Liam

“H-hi” I force out, blushing. Liam doesn’t notice and greets me back, smiling and heading to his desk. I seem to have been a mess, and, even though Liam didn’t notice, Phoebe sure did. The bell rang. Lunch! My thoughts delightfully ring. I was relieved that was over. “What was that?!” Phoebe laughed, looking terribly amused. I elbowed her. “I don’t know” I replied, eating my chicken. “Oooh not like you have a crush on-“ I elbowed Phoebe to shut her up. Liam was standing in front of me. “On who?” He asked, and I hid behind Phoebe, then slipped off onto the blacktop. “Well, uhh,” Phoebe stuttered, then whispered in his ear. I ran off, feeling the sting of betrayal. Liam blushed, then followed me. He caught up, pulling me over to a bench, I sighed, slipping onto the bench. “Phoebe told me.” He said. I teared up, and Liam surprisingly rubbed my back comfortingly. “I do too.” He whispered. The next day, Phoebe and I grew farther and farther while Liam and I grew closer. One day I was yelled at and was tearing up once again. I sat on the bench. Liam put a arm around me and leaned into me. I realized people were still here and turned the dial down.

The next day, Phoebe sat next to me whilst I stared at the birds pecking seeds off the ground. I was alarmed she wasn’t mad at me anymore. “So, how is Liam?” Phoebe asked quietly. “Good. Why do you ask? Can’t you talk to him yourself?” I whispered back.
“I… Can’t seem to talk to him.”
There was a alarmed yell. “What?” I raised my head again. A blue roan horse was trying to get through the gate. I was the first on my feet, racing to the gate. “Unlock it” I nod to the teacher. The horse galloped, and I chased it, standing in front of it. Without thinking, I hold my hand out to pet it’s snout. The mare stops panicking and brushed it’s nose on my face, sending me into giggles. “Hmm… I‘ll call you Sapphire.” I say to the horse. She neighed happily in response. I mount her unsaddled, and pat her neck. We go into a quick trot, and came to the teacher who got out a saddle and bridle. I put the tack on, and we galloped across the field.

“Sapphire.” I called. Sapphire and I had been training. Sapphire galloped, stopping at my side so I could mount her. “Come on.” The teacher set up a training course for us. We jumped through a high hoop, galloped around the track, and jumped over obstacles. I had given everyone I wanted to a horse that matches their personality. “Come on, girl.” I said to Sapphire as we galloped.

Phoebe had Milk, a creamy white horse. Jay had Bronze, a brown horse. Liam had one of the best horses, Midnight, a black horse. I had another horse, who actually had a dark purple coat named Twilight with a pitch black shiny mane and tail. Andy had Lineo, a nerd horse. (Andy is our history guy) And then there was Zebra, a white horse with a black mane and tail, with Ishna.

Please reply I put a lot of hard work into this.

I know how cherry felt because one of my classmates last year in fourth grade used to call me a cheater. I also have this friend who’s other seat friend was jealous of the new best friend so she talked bad about the first friend.
