My name is Kari.
Let's sit down and do this heart meditation together.
Make sure that your body is comfortable.
Straighten your spine and close off your eyes.
Let go of everything on the outside and try and pull all of your attention inward.
Just imagine that you're sat inside of your own body,
Being really quiet and still.
And from the inside you can observe all the different things that's going on around you.
You can feel whether it's calm inside of there,
Whether it's anxious or chaotic.
You can feel from the inside what your energy feels like,
Whether it feels heavy around you or it feels light and spacious.
Try and be still and quiet and see yourself in your mind sat inside of yourself listening.
You may become aware of different parts inside of you that's louder than the others.
Maybe it's your tummy talking,
Your breathing,
Your heartbeat.
I know this sounds unusual but in your own mind see where you are inside of your body and wherever you are follow that up by seeing yourself journeying through your body until you're sat comfortably inside of your own heart.
The mini you in crisscross applesauce,
Your spine nice and straight.
See if you can really connect to the visual of that,
The sensations of what that would feel like to be seated spine straight inside of your physical heart listening to the loud beat all around your body.
Being so close and up personal to this part of your being.
Start to communicate,
Ask your heart how are you doing today?
Feel inside of your body for the response.
You may not hear a verbal response,
You may but you may not but if you sit still with the question and just feel and listen your heart will instantly start to either tighten or relax or expand.
Repeat the question with me so that you can experience what I'm talking about.
Focus in,
Get quiet and then ask your heart how are you feeling today and see what happens.
When I ask the question for some reason even though consciously I feel really good today,
I feel fine,
I don't feel like anything's wrong,
I ask my heart the question and my heart gets heavy almost as if it's sad.
With no conscious knowledge of this feeling or emotion before just checking in with my physical heart and saying how are you feeling today?
Once again when I ask the question my body responds,
My heart feels like it sinks a little bit and gets heavy.
This is just me.
Acknowledge what your heart is trying to tell you when you ask the question.
I don't have to know why my heart feels heavy or sad but I can just feed it what it needs in this moment and if my heart feels heavy and sad then I instinctively want to put my left hand over my heart just to connect.
You can try it and see if it feels good for you.
I instinctively want to hold my heart with my hand as if I'm giving it the support or love or tenderness that maybe it needs.
Follow your intuition when your heart talks to you and it gives you a feeling or a verbal response to the question.
What does your intuition tell you to do next?
Listen to yourself and trust in yourself.
Maybe there's a feeling of wanting to scream or laugh or just shout something out.
Just to energetically acknowledge the feeling that you feel inside of your heart.
Maybe there's anger and frustration in your heart today.
Maybe you feel the need to verbally sigh out loud,
To breathe heavy out loud,
To release some of that energy or maybe you feel like you want to cry.
Intuitively just listen to what your mind,
What your heart,
What your body feels like it wants to do when you ask the question.
And pulling your attention back into being sat inside of your physical heart like your own miniature little Buddha.
All wise and knowledgeable.
Listening.
Being aware.
Tuning into your own intuition.
Ask your heart,
How can I show you more love?
And listen.
Again,
You may see visuals.
You may hear a verbal response.
Or you may just feel something change and shift inside of your heart when you ask the question.
Ask again.
Really focus in and listen.
How can I show you more love?
My heart physically responds.
I get the sensation of my heart opening.
It feels like this more space.
A feeling of a door opening to my heart or the top being opened.
Intuitively I read that as my heart telling me that it needs to have more open time.
It needs to be in situations where it can be more open to truly feel,
To not be blocked and shut down and closed off.
So to show my heart more love I have to put myself in situations where my heart can be open.
My heart can be its true self.
What do you feel?
And if you don't feel anything just repeat the question like a mantra.
How can I show you more love?
How can I show you more love?
And just observe.
Listen.
Think about doing this practice daily.
Tuning in to your heart and asking those two simple questions.
How are you feeling today?
How can I show you more love?
You be surprised what you learn about yourself.
Namaste my friend.
Namaste.
